Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

Stayed one night for a flight back north. Comfortably fit a family of five. Very clean, swanky and friendly staff. Didnt like the $35 parking fee but there were no other options. Roof top pool really nice. Wish there was a hot tub. All in all, nice stay and beautiful hotel.

Overall me and my family had an excellent stay

The hotel itself was very nice, smelled good and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. I’ve waited 8 years to have my first night away from my family. It was essentially ruined by the noise and bass that I could hear and feel from the rooftop pool and bar; and the room next door to me had a dog that kept barking. Not the relaxing and restful experience I was hoping for or deserved.

Stayed for 1 night after a family vacation. I wished I could have stayed longer. The ambiance was wlcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean. The roof top bar/pool was awesome with a picturesque view...I loved it all! Will definitely come back again!

We stayed at the Downtown Courtyard by Marriott because of proximity to a wedding we had. It’s a beautiful, clean facility with terrific amenities. The rooftop pool (party) was pretty wild over the weekend, which was a bit intense for my 2.5 yo and 4 mth infant, but it looked like a good time was being had by all. Pool was still inviting enough for my daughter and I to have a quick dip. But the real call out here needs to be the staff. From the valet, to the front desk, to the bartenders, and cleaners — everyone was wonderful and helpful and cheerful. A very special mention needs to go out to Sylvia, who heads up the housekeeping, as she went over and above for us, on several occasions. Traveling in as a solo dad with two little ones was made easy thanks to Sylvia’s help, compassion, and wonderful demeanor (as a mother of two herself, she immediately clicked with my toddler). We had a unique situation with frozen breast milk that was needed to be kept in a freezer, and Sylvia coordinated everything to ensure this was easy and seamless and all staff were across it. From setting up the crib in the room to a whole bunch of other little things around the place, I can’t speak highly enough about how helpful Sylvia and team were to our entire experience. This sort of customer service alone would be enough to warrant a strong recommendation, but couple that with a great facility at good value, and I give CbM Downtown two thumbs up!

Hotel was great! It was new, clean and great atmosphere! We were traveling with kids so pool area wasn’t the best scene for families on Saturday as it was packed and there is a DJ so it attracts a very young crowd. Otherwise, we had a great experience.
