Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brooksville

I was in town for a memorial with my family and the Microtel in Brooksville was an affordable and convenient option for most of us. The staff is kind and the facility is clean. It's not luxurious, but that's not the brand.

check in was quick, went to the room and it was not what we reserved. We reserved A two bed this was a single bed room very small. I went to the front desk. The gentleman on duty said that he would credit us some money, but as of yet a week later, we have not seen it. Later, after coming back from dinner, we were going to watch a movie before retiring for the night the Internet was so spotty that it kept circling and circling every few minutes so went to the front desk told the girl the Internet wasn’t working she said she would be to the room in a minute, but never never showed up. Thank goodness for cell phones. We went out to breakfast before leaving, the kitchen area is very small and compact a few minutes trying to get coffee family came down with about six people couldn’t move in there so we we decided to leave and go down the street to Cracker Barrel that cost me more money. This was our second stay at this hotel last time was a wonderful experience this time not so much. There are couple other hotels in the area that next month we will try a different one.

Room was spacious, clean, updated, and the A/C worked well. Our family of four had a great overnight stay on our way to Tampa.

If you like the smell of weed and curry this place is for you Hallways smell musty. Rooms same. Smallest queen bed I have ever seen. Hot water shower good luck. Breakfast. Seen kid drinking from milk jug. But not their fault. But if it was my kid you betcha ruff day of sitting for that dude.

For it to be a microtel it was absolutely awesome. Pool is open til 10 wish it would be a little later due to not wanting to be around a lot of people. Absolutely loved the bar set up. The "kitchen" area was awesome and love their shopping little center. Definitely a cheap Boujee trip but affordable for the poor lol we will definitely be back and keep going. Hoping to use the gym next time. Hot bubble bath was relaxing. Just everything about it was the best can't wait to come back. Definitely bringing the kids so they can enjoy the time too. And the price was especially worth it. Loved it!!!!

The room was small I mean real small. Over 100 bucks a night I guess I am out of touch. The entire hotel was very clean from rooms to the pool and the lobby. Bed for me was to soft and quite uncomfortable. No real channels on TV no netlix (you can use your own account by putting in your email and password.) I don't car about tv just saying incase you have children. Good service the whole crew is nice there really is nothing at all to nit pick.

Room was definitely not clean there was still other peoples hair in the shower I kept a gagging and my husband and to clean it for me my kids feet were black and my husband noticed a fruit loop under the table that was not ours. Also the walls had gross stuff all over it and there was an exposed nail where the carpet meet up with the tile for the bathroom by day two everything in the room felt wet all of our clothes the sheets everything we had this happen at a la Quinta before and I found out from the elevator’s advertising that they are sister companies we stayed in room 316 I will go back to hiltons now I never had a bad experience with home wood suites.

I live in Lakeland, but stayed here because it is closer to my mothers house. She was gives a few weeks to live and her house was full of family, so I booked thru you guys.. very clean place .

There Housekeepers are very rude, when a guest as for something there shouldn’t be a problem! There is water everywhere, my family slipped twice, the guard rail on the second floor has caution tape and is very unstable! I would say not very family friendly! Your guest should be treated like family! I could look over a lot with a little kindness but their is none! Please don’t stay unless you absolutely have too!!
