Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bonifay, an IHG Hotel

We had to come to Bonifay for a family gathering. After reading all the reviews, this was by far the best choice. It is much more expensive, a little bit more than double, but it is well worth the extra money if comfort matters to you. We were checked in by Heather who is really lovely and got us checked in super fast. The beds were super comfortable, the sheets were great. The towels were new and fresh and the room was very modern. Had a great night sleep wonderful shower. There was a working refrigerator that kept everything cold . It got super cold, which was even better, the dial worked. There was a max cold and a little microwave! The TV I got no complaints. Ample plugs USB ports, unfortunately I had a USB-C cable but convenient plugs right next to the bed. There was always hot coffee. And although we did not engage in the breakfast, the gal who is working, the breakfast bar kept it super clean, and it looked really inviting. If you’re going across the state and you got to stop this is a great choice.

Holiday Inn Express had always been good to me & my family!

The staff was fantastic! The only problem we had was cleaning. When we first arrived i found an open soda in the fridge and food in the ice bucket. I asked for housekeeping to empty the trash on day 2 which they did that morning. That evening at about 4:30 we had someone walk into our room whole we were there with our children. She said housekeeping. That made us feel very uncomfortable. I did go to the exercise room and used that. The treadmill and elliptical worked great. The standing weight machine was broken. The room really needed a good sweep because it was dirty. All in all we would stay here again because the good out weighed the bad.

Great stay after we switched rooms. The room we were put in had an air conditioning unit that didn’t work... and the front desk was well aware of it because as soon as we mentioned it, without hesitation she moved us to another room. We checked in pretty late with little kids. So having to move rooms after 30 min of having exhausted children ready for bed was exhausting for us. The room we moved too was great. Cold, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was great and everyone seemed friendly on staff.
