The hotel very new and looks clean, our family stayed 4 nights, no room service provided. The first 2 nights we have chosen not to provide room service, but when we want them to provide room service, no one doing it. The first night we stayed, there is party hosted on the top of the building, it's noisy, the worst part is fire alarm rings at 7am, we rushed out, and no staff from hotel telling us what's going on, and no one told us when the situation dismissed. We were standing on the street until we saw the fire truck left, and we were still not sure should we go back to our room or not, because no employee from hotel told us so. Also, the last night we stayed, between 12pm to 5am the room smells horrible, at beginning we thought our kids didn't flash toilet, I checked it's cleaned, and the smell became worse and worse. We have to turn the air conditioner stronger and lower temperature, finally the room doesn't smell too bad, but the result is our kid got sick due to the low temperature.

Hotel itself is very nice. The untold story is it is located on the edge of the “hood” (low income, high crime area). We were accosted out front of the hotel by 5 juveniles throwing rocks, some of which hit my husband and made our Uber driver leave us stranded. Employees did nothing as the kids all came and stood in front of the building apparently knowing the employees. Parties at night on the 9th floor ,with loud music, which could be heard from our 7th floor room. Front desk employees were all very nice and helpful, but I can’t say the same for the parking attendants outside. Proximity to the baseball stadium makes it a great place to stay when going to games, but I won’t be back. It’s about a 1/2 mile hike to walk to food options on the north side of the stadium + the subway. Just walk next to the ball park to avoid a problems.

We came to go to the Twins/Nationals series. The stadium was right there. If you're a soccer family their stadium is right there. Many dining options but you will need to walk to them but worth the walk as it is excellent food.

Overall a great trip to visit family in an apartment that was 2 blocks away. The hotel and our room were very clean. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. We had a great view of the Capitol which was 2 miles away and the Washington Monument. There is only off site valet parking which is $69.90/day. The entire area is a major work zone of new buildings and road work but was fairly quiet on a weekend.

Arrived at the hotel after a 5 hr drive with 3 kids only to find the valet was full. When asked where to park the valet said he had no idea due to there being 2 sporting events that night. So I went to the front desk to ask for recommendations and was told there was no parking and I should drive up and down the streets looking for meter parking. I was almost in tears at this point and reinstated I had driven for 5 hours and paid $300 for the room and I had to drive up and down the streets of DC to find parking. They were very rude and said there were garages but they didn’t offer any overnight parking and said good luck. A hour later I found a garage a mile away to park in and marched my 3 kids down the streets of DC with our luggage to hotel. The hotel was nice and clean but I will never stay there again and would not recommend anyone with a car to stay there.

This hotel was amazing valley greeted us upon arrival, the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was clean from the lobby to the room. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were awesome I slept like a baby.

The hotel is pretty new, and the room was comfortable - the beds and pillows especially were excellent. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great, and the Sunday brunch was pretty fantastic - not necessarily due to a lot of choices, the the food itself was really good. The walk to the National Stadium is very short.
But outside the restaurant the hotel staff were not super helpful. Our safe was closed when we got the room and their response was "you just have to read the directions". Eventually I got them to send up a technician and he discovered the previous tenant had locked the safe, like we told them (a kid had put balls of aluminum foil in there). THAT technician did come quickly and was very nice. Also, the TV got no reception. We tried every source, etc. But when we talked to reception their response was "you're just not pushing the right button". NOT helpful, and NOT a great attitude every time a customer has an issue they tell the customer its on them. Lastly, the hotel has no onsite parking. And even though they have "Valet" signs out front they told us they had no more valet parking and directed us to a public garage 4 blocks away!! Luckily it wasn't raining, but they're going to HAVE to do better than that for us to come back next time. Hotel staff (outside of the restaurants) is NOT very professional or helpful.

The property was clean, the rooms were spacious and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and we appreciated having the restaurant for breakfast and lunch options. The hotel location was ideal, with great views of the Anacostia river, the Fredrick Douglas bridge, and the Riverfront. It was a short walk to Nationals Stadium and the soccer stadium. Great dining options and walking paths made it very family friendly for us. We used valet parking at the hotel as street parking is a bit challenging. And the next-door location to Invictus Fitness was ideal.

We stayed in this hotel as part of our spring break vacation and to assist to a local sports game. This property was very attractive because it was close to the sporting venue. I was surprised to see that the advertised valet parking was no longer available. The front office staff was very dismissive and did not offer any type of alternatives. They were aware that if our vehicle was left on the street It would be towed away. They did have some reserved parking spaces in the front of the property for valet. None of those were used throughout the night. I asked if I could kindly park there after hours and move it early in the morning. They told me that could not be done. They told me that where I park was “not their problem”. Ultimately I had to rent a room at another hotel that did offer parking and part of my family stayed at the Cambria hotel. I would not go back there and I would suggest for management to train the front office to be more hospitable.
