I usually never write a bad review on anything, but I highly recommend no one stay at this hotel while visiting DC. I tried to give this place a chance before I left this review but NO. Looks can be deceiving….
1. They have no amenities whatsoever, not even a drink machine. I was only wanting a Sprite. I had two choices; 1) Go walk 5 blocks while getting harassed by homeless, or 2). Go to the hotel bar, even though they confirmed I was a guest staying for (5) days paying over $1,000.00. I would have thought they would have just gave me a complementary soda, nope! $5.00 for a can soda, like buying a water at a concert.
2. One of our ceiling lights inside our room continuously blinked and fell on deaf ears, and never was fixed.
3. The hotel also thought it was a good idea to cut off the water to the entire hotel at 2:00am, without any warning whatsoever. So when we used the restroom at approximately 3:00am the toilet made a LOUD banging noise for about 30 mins, and woke our entire family up. We called the front desk, and they acted as if it was not a big deal. Even though the next morning when we all woke up to take showers in the morning the water was brown/black, because they had turned off the water. So we had to wait for the water to clear up to take any showers and brush our teeth in the sink.
4. They definitely need to upgrade their air conditioning system, very hot in the rooms. You have to keep it between 50-60 degrees for it to get comfortable.
5. No mini re

I found marijuana in my bed and my 1 year old daughter found another piece. She could have eaten it. I took it to the front desk and not one person apologized or seemed to care that drugs were in my bed and that my baby got ahold of them. Im pretty upset by this. I didn’t hear a word from management and at the least I should get an apology.

Loved this hotel. Reasonably priced and great customer service. Feels like a family run hotel. They take care of you and you can walk to about anywhere in dc from here!

We loved the stately old time-y elegance of this hotel. Such a nice change from all the hotel chains. It felt recently renovated and was very comfortable. And so quiet! We slept like babies. Our queen room was rather small with no dresser, so you may want to get a larger room if you are staying for a few days.

The Henley Park hotel is my favorite Washington DC retreat. The staff, especially Usha and her spouse treat me and my family members as if we were members of their own family. They, along with the entire crew make our visits warm and pleasurable.

Very personal. Not your usual craziness of large hotels. Very nice junior suite. Loved having a restaurant in house, especially for breakfast.

Doormen and waitress in restaurant were GREAT!! Woman who checked us in was competent but not very friendly. Room was small but fine. We chose hotel for historic character. Biggest disappointment--the bar closed before 10 on a Saturday night! We were really looking forward to that nightcap after a busy week with family.
