Nice rooms, great for families with children.

I stayed there for one night with kids for sports tournament. The property and the room were clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for my daughters 12yr birthday party, 1 adult and 5 kids aged 12. I had called prior to booking to ensure that this would be ok and was told that while they had a no party policy this is not what they considered a party. While checking in, I was told that if this was a party, we would not be able to stay and I explained that I had already spoken to someone prior to booking and was told that it would be acceptable. It ended up fine and the girls had a blast. I was disappointed that the hot tub was broken as I was looking forward to unwinding there while the kids swam in the pool. Otherwise the room was beautiful (but not the cleanest) and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was great. I would stay here again.

Upon check-in they asked us if we would like a free room upgrade, of course we accepted. Everything was perfect for my family, and they are super animal friendly which is a huge plus in our book since our dog always comes with us when we travel to Connecticut. Breakfast was delicious, pool was clean, room was amazing. We actually added an extra night on and weren’t charged a crazy amount, which was very nice of them! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Our over all stay is very good. We booked a room for 3 days 2 nights. Our kids love to swim, they enjoyed swimming in the pool, however on our second day of our stay the pool is closed all day for maintenance issue. After we checked out, in the parking lot a tow truck is towing a car, my husband asked the tow truck driver what is wrong with the car he is towing, the tow truck driver said that the car is a rental car that was almost carnap during the night but the cops prevented it from happening. He is towing the car because something is wrong with it now. So sad that such incident happened, because our overall stay in wonderful, I hope something will be done to make the cars of clients safer.

It is a great place for family and friend to relax.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family in town. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. Staff always welcomed us back when we returned to the hotel each day/night. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Loved the kitchen and even cooked some late night grilled cheeses. Full size fridge, dishwasher, and cooking utensils. Bathroom was night, loved the shower. Breakfast was great. Had a lot of options and everything was tasty. Surrounding property was nice as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was excellent. Everyone was very helpful, polite and accommodating. The room configuration and furnishings were perfect for our needs and having a kitchen was a nice plus. The rooms could use a deeper clean. I covered the couch with a blanket and removed throw pillows as they were clearly stained, Nice pool for kids and adults, good basic gym. Breakfast was ok, very repetitive, we stayed 5 nights so it would have been nice to change it up or have a little more variety, also no grab and go options like muffins or danishes. We had to go to a coffee shop instead one morning because we didn’t have time to sit down. The area was nice and quiet and felt safe. 5 min highway drive to shopping (12 if you avoid highways). 15 mins to downtown Hartford. Not a great spot if you like to walk/explore on foot. Overall a good stay and we’d recommend to anyone looking for a spacious room outside the city.

We had to change our plans for our annual family Christmas gathering due to the pending storm. We arrived, driving from SC, much earlier than check in time. The check In receptionist was very friendly and found us a room right away.

This property was out of town just off the main highway. Very large hotel with lots of parking. Needed to drive out for eateries. Room was large and clean; a suite with great cooking amenities, great for families that prefer that option. We did not use the pool or gym, so cannot comment on these. We were there at the weekend, so hotel was very busy. Breakfast was satisfactory. Hotel bar and cafe was okay, but had very limited choices.
