Convenient location to visit with family in the Danbury area. Nice room with sitting area allowed us to stretch out and relax.

Everything was satisfactory for us. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It seems like they are making some improvements/upgrades...the kids loved the pool and the arcade was a fun addition. Staff was responsive when we asked for something.

Hotel was okay, to be fair they are under renovations at the moment so conditions were as expected during work in progress. Room was clean and in good condition. Bathroom was worn but usable. Lots of Hockey kids on first night and hotel went quiet by 10:00 P.M. Hotel was a ghost town on Sunday night. Super quiet!

Parts of the property are under renovation, which gave the exterior a shabby look. The Gallo family restaurant which is attached is “ closed until further notice”. It looks like it’s been closed for a long time! The interior was very clean and the room was very spacious! Breakfast offerings are mediocre- bagels, toast, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, make your own waffles, and scrambled eggs and sausage. Healthier breakfast options would be appreciated.

La quinta is getting older, but overall they have enough to make us come back when visiting family. The fitness center is amazing and has great equipment. The breakfast has a good variety but I have seen better. The pillows were hard and the HVAC was hard to control. All in all it was worth the stay.

Management was non responsive to multiple noise complaints. They apparently placed little regard for individuals and ignored complaints made against a large group. Part of the problem was lack of parental common sence. Parents of a youth hocky team encouraged the kids to play hocky and run up and down the halls screaming after midnight. But as i stated, hotel management did nothing. Beds were hard and uncomfortable and beding inadequate. Building is aged and in need of repairs. Parking is marginally adequate only when using the restaurant parking as well.

The hotel itself was great for our family get together, especially since we didn’t have to leave the hotel to have a nice dinner in the connected restaurant. Staff was helpful and personable. The only issue we had was the amount of heavy traffic outside the hotel which made getting into and out of the property extremely difficult at times. On another topic, Expedia used our cancellation of two out of ten rooms to refuse our Rakuten cash back deal. We should have earned over $90 and instead they gave 0, claiming any change to a reservation voids the offer. No fine print that I can find that shows this policy.

Pros: Conveniently located off of 84. The cot was free and comfortable for our son. The kids loved the arcade. The king bed was comfortable and room was clean. Neutral: First room smelled like smoke so we moved to a second deluxe room which smelled fine. Cons: Building, decor, and furniture is extremely outdated. Breakfast is meh. Would be worth a stay after the planned renovations for Dec 2023. Otherwise, not sure why this one ranked higher than 8 out of 10. The only thing that I can figure is that it is an 8 for people used to staying in 2 star hotels.

My family stopped for the night. Our room was simple but adequate. The breakfast was good. The environment was quiet. Staff was polite and efficient. There was even a dog park! We would stay here again.
