Springhill Suites by Marriott Hartford Cromwell

We had a very comfortable stay here. The room was clean and well updated, the staff was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was just right. My kids raved about the waffles and the sausage. It was easily accessible off the highway and just perfect for our needs. No complaints.

1 med qas missing a fitted sheet the entire stay, 1 bed had old chocolate ice-cream with sprinkles dried to the head board, bathroom had black ants everywhere, floors werent vaccumed lpts of crumbs clothing strings. No extra bedding for trundle bed, we asked multiple times for. Trash was never taken out until a nice gentlemam working night shift apologized for everything brought us extra bedding and took the trash. No bathtub to bath toddlers either was a big disappointment we had to drive an hour to family to bathe our kids. Wont stay here again.

We checked into a room that we had confirmed in our reservation had 5 guests. Only 2 bath towels and one washcloth in the room. Room was dusty and dirty. While there asked for extra bedding a pillows for pull out was told they are out of pillows and would try and find bedding. There was 2 private parties each night that the hotel staff cared for about than anyone else. Parties were loud kids all through hallways running. Kids on patio throwing the lava rocks from out of fire pit. I pointed out to hotel staff and they told me to move my car if I had an issue because they wouldn’t say anything to the private party. 1am to 4am guests running our halls and slamming doors. Also our room door was extremely hard to open and we were in an ada room.

The whole hotel, reeked of marijuana to the point of nausea & i ended up with a headache From Friday to Tues. When i complained, they said they were aware of it, but there was nothing they can do, so they came & sprayed the hallway with something on the fabreez line. We couldn't have our grandchildren stay with us because i was too afraid of exposing them.To each his own but it is a non smoking Hotel. Unless you get up & 8 am there wasn't ever any breakfast left after 8:30. Would not recommend for family. I can't believe the standard for a Marriott. You can complain till the cows come home & they don't do anything for you. Not even a bottle of water. We paid 3.42 for an 8 oz bottle of water right after we expressed our concern.

Very clean quiet and easy to find hotel. Great set up for a family of 5 with 2 queens and a pull out sofa bed. Delicious free breakfast. Highly recommend.

Fun family trip.

Terrible stay, went there with family. They had no rooms available. The staff left earlier in the day leaving family stranded even though we did the early check in. Under new management told the staff to tell us to go home. The staff Chelsea was very considerate

It was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and the building was clean. I wish there was more focus.on keeping the pool area tidy as that is a reason a lot of families come. There was a mess left in the pool area at night and it was disappointing to see it in the aame condition the next morning. There was food remnants and garbage surrounding the pool, no towels amd a lot of hairballs floating around. We skipped we swimming that morning. Also, perhaps a drain aeou d the pool floor as it was a large puddle all aeound the room.
