We really enjoyed our stay at Highline Vail. It is one of our kids' favorite places we've ever stayed. We had a king loft suite and if you have a family of 5 or more, it is a perfect set up. We appreciated the separate spaces and the kitchen area. The games in the lobby and game room were great for our kids. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and not crowded the week were there. The free shuttle to and from Vail ski resort was a big plus- easy and convenient. It was also the least expensive place we found available in the area for 5 people. We were pleased with everything and will definitely stay again if we return to Vail.

I have never written a hotel review before, so you know I’m not some crazy review-writer. I travel for my career, and have for over 30 years. Have stayed in 1000+ hotels. This is certainly at the bottom 2%.
I was stranded (I-70 closed in winter storm) and there were essentially no rooms in the Vail valley. Because this was the last room, they jacked the price to $864. Yes, you read that correctly. I could either sleep in my car in 2 degree weather, or pay this. Outrageous, and just wrong.
My room looked like a kid’s dorm room in college. Beat up, scratched, random paint on the wall, tape holding things together. It was terrible. And the heater did not work. Remember, it was 2 degrees outside. they brought me extra blankets for my bed.
Yes, the lobby picture is great. And it is pretty nice. But the rooms- wow. I tried to see the manager in the morning. I was told he was too busy and I’d have to wait 30 min. Just crazy.
You are likely very excited about your trip to Vail. I live in CO, and there are more nice hotels in this area than in any part of CO. Don’t stay here. This is not about me getting back at this hotel, it’s about you having a great time when you are in town with friends and family.
This is about greed and mismanagement.

Overall disappointed for the price. We had hotel staff in our room addressing issues two of the four nights we stayed when my kids were ready for bed. Mini fridge had to be replaced due to door almost falling off and wouldn't seal. Bathroom fan switch was falling out of the wall. Phone message light started flashing red and the only solution was to unplug the phone. Room was not serviced two of the three days, even after complaining after the first day and then when it was serviced was missing things like wash clothes. Hot tub was a big draw for selecting this property but it was luke warm rather than hot so we only used it one night. Hotel staff was friendly and responsive but there were just too many issues which we should not have had to deal with at a property at this price.
The hotel shuttle was the highlight with it being very convenient and drivers being great.

Very disappointed, I was excited to have booked myself and my new husband of one month a king suite with space to spread out. Staff at check in was rude and throughout the whole visit. One particular woman working evenings was very very rude to myself and other event guests and my family. The worst part for me was that it is the heat of the summer and some of the hottest days in Vail this year, we get to our room and the fireplace is on with no Key to turn it on so the room was so hot and uncomfortable. We had the hallway door and balcony door open to try and get some air flow (with nosy people looking in) and not overheat. Luckily maintenance came quickly and turned it off but the room doesnt cool down instantly. It also really didn’t cool down much at all. It was always noticeably too warm every time we walked in. Since the bedroom is upstairs it is even warmer, and there is a fan that points from upstairs down to the living area that we blasted the whole time and neither of us got any sleep over our whole trip because it was so uncomfortably hot.
Just very disappointed in the overall experience. Not worth the money at all.
The best part of the stay was the free shuttle, it made it so easy to get around without having to drive and pay for parking in Vail Village.

Chose this for a family destination wedding in Vail. Great for that because parking was free and hotel offered free shuttle to and from Vail Village. Shuttle had uber accommodating and friendly, personable drivers! Wish we’d had time to enjoy the outdoor firepit. Room was comfy, bed also. Nice bar/restaurant attached, not affiliated with hotel. Would recommend this place. Would stay again.

This hotel was wonderful! Had something for the entire family! My partner and I stayed for 4 days and enjoyed all of it. Heath, Paul and Tray were great along with the entire staff! The only issue was the one restaurant onsite, just note they are not associated with hotel so bring your credit card or cash, no charging to the room. We loved the free shuttle to the Village, hot tub amazing and the scenery breathtaking from our balcony!

The room wasn’t clean by 4pm check in, so the substitution room was “clean” but not really. Hair in the bathtub, crumbs all over the floor, the fridge stunk so badly I couldn’t use it.
It was only one night so it was acceptable just to not deal with the hassle of dealing with the front desk again.
The clerk who checked us in was nice, no issues besides the room not being ready (but that’s not his doing).
Checked out was another story, the older lady didn’t even look at me while speaking. She was having a conversation with another clerk when I walked to the desk so I stood their bags in hand with 3 kids, waiting, and let them finish. Knowing full well I’m waiting on her, she pulled out her phone and was glued to it the entire exchange. I was met with “do you need something?” And nothing but rude there on out. She told me to put the key on the desk and not a word more.
I’m a decent human being and always start any exchange in a polite, respectful manner. It’s not too much to expect the same return in a 60 second exchange.
It was an expensive hotel and for that rate I would expect cleanliness and a SMIDGEN on hospitality.
Do not come here if you want to be treated like a decent human being.
