The hotel itself is great and the staff are very friendly! However our tv kept changing channels every 3-5 minutes making it impossible to watch any movies as a family. We reported it to the front desk three separate times and each time they told us it was “taken care of”. I guess we have different definitions of “taken care of.” We also had a dining credit for our room that no one explained to us how it was supposed to be used. So we spent way too much money on food than we would’ve otherwise. Overall it was a “fine” experience. The lady who was vacuuming the lobby was super super nice! They give you a plant for your room which is super cute. When you book this property, come to Denver with your patience and you’ll be fine.

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver was meant to be my wife and my 16th year anniversary weekend together [away from the kiddos!] It didn't go quite as planned. Our sitter feel through....bummer....so we took the kiddos with us. This meant we didn't get to go to see Moulin Rouge at the DCPA, and we had to cancel our dinner reservations nearby....super bummer! The hotel concierge that I originally worked with in advance to plan a great evening at the Kimpton was fantastic, both before we knew about the sitter change, and after by making the experience as accommodating as possible with our three kids in tow. We turned the evening into a fun family night! We got pizza from Panzano, attached to the hotel, and it was the best I have had in years. We watched movies as a family......and then the night turned sour. The walls are paper thin in the room we had, a king suite of some sort, and then....a bachelor party showed up! They had a great time through the early hours of the morning, which meant our family didn't get any sleep. In the end, an originally planned great night with my wife, turned to a fun evening with my family, and then to no sleep at all! To only reason for a not 5 star review is the hotel rep we met in the morning to check out. She had no time to listen to our story about the paper thin walls, which would have been a nice closure to the weekend. Here is to next time! Lets hope the sitter doesn't fall through!

This Mediterranean style of Boutique Hotel, conveniently located in Downtown Denver, was the ideal adult gathering place. Location was an easy walk to free shuttle transportation on the 16th St Mall Ride.
Although my family had 2 children under 10 years old, the staff was cordial and welcoming.
The evening wine hour was a pleasant adult event.
A “ night cap@ offering was an added amenity.

Quick and fast check in when we arrived past midnight. Our executive suite room was open and spacious for our family of 4. We called down to request bedding for the pull out bed, and Zeke brought everything up right away. The room was clean, and I really liked the layout. When you walk into the executive room, there is a coat closet with a luggage stool and robes. The first room has the pull out couch, a lounge chair, tv, mini fridge, and a table chairs for 2. The second room felt large and welcoming with tall ceilings and walls of windows. This second room had a second (non-pullout) couch, a coffee table, king sized bed, TV, free standing closet, and the bathroom. The bathroom was stocked without single use items, so full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along side single size lotion and a single size bar of soap. I like this eco-friendly change.
Coffee and tea were offered either in the restaurant or lobby free of charge in the mornings. We never made it to the free wine hour in the lobby (I believe 4-5pm). We did catch the free night cap offering one night and it was wonderful for my husband to get a shot of whiskey and me some blueberry mead. There is also free water by request at front desk.
Location is good, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. 7-11 across the street. Denver does have a large homeless population that sleep in tents a few blocks from the hotel.
Overall, I would love to stay at this property again.

The staff was lovely and accommodating. They were so kind to our three year grandchild. The water in the shower and sink never heated to more than warm. They tried to fix it but it never improved.

The hotel itself is nice and updated. It's a quick walk to 16th street mall. All of the staff was informative and helpful. The valet only took roughly 5-10 minutes each time we needed our vehicle. The room was spacious, but only had two small chairs to sit in other than the beds. One of the beds in the room was right outside the bathroom which was not idea when someone was using it. We (family of 4) arrived on a late Friday and left early morning on a Tuesday. Since we were in late Friday, we put out a do not disturb sign Saturday morning. By Sunday morning at 9 am, we had taken the sign down so our room could be cleaned. When we returned that evening, it still wasn't cleaned. We thought that maybe we didn't take the sign down in time. However, Monday came and went, and our room was still not cleaned. We had to call guest services in order to get toilet paper and clean towels. The blankets on both beds were a mess by Monday, and hard to realign in order to sleep. Our curtains opened up to a parking garage, which was fine as we weren't in our room a lot. Unfortunately, early Monday morning, we were awaken by cars driving through the garage. Unfortunately, we will probably look into other hotel options next time we are in town.
