Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown-Convention Center

I really enjoyed that after i believe 8 or 9 you had to have a room key to het in the building. And to go up the elevator you also had to have a room key. Made me feel like my family was a little safer in the downtown area.

Overall we had a good stay here in Denver. Ubers were affordable from this central location to the Coors field, Elitch gardens, Denver zoo Etc. Our favorite part was the breakfast buffet they offered each morning, it was great every day, always had yummy options and the staff there were so helpful & kind! Housekeeping & Front desk service wasn’t great though. We had to ask for extra towels one night, waited over an hr- then I finally figured out how to call housekeeping for towels & they showed up quickly after that. Same with another request we had, front desk seemed to forget about us and I had to request it again after a while. When you go to ask front desk something the girls don’t stop their conversation & greet you quickly enough which made it awkward so that was surprising. The pool was nice, you can tell it’s older cause it’s scratchy but my kids were fine, hot tub on the other hand felt slimy & I didn’t enjoy it personally. Fitness center was nice too! Overall this was a good choice to stay in the city. Lots of places to walk to for food and even was able to walk easily back from baseball game. Breakfast buffet was the greatest amenity and front desk was just okay. I think we would stay here again ultimately!

The family had a great time during our stay and we all enjoyed how big the apartment was.. specially the kitchen.. we even got to enjoy e delicious Colombian soup that we prepared at the hotel.. the service was amazing and location is excellent!!

Upon arrival, it was impossible to pull out of traffic and into the arrival area due to cars being backed up. Once finally in the check in area, I realized they were very short staffed. Out of our control, but made for a less than pleasant experience. I asked the person checking me in for a kid-friendly dinner recommendation. She handed me a voucher for one free drink at a bar nearby. Room was ok. Bathroom was disgusting. Loud HVAC system outside kept me awake at night, as did someone through very thin walls having a very good (and NOT kid friendly!) time. Do not recommend!

We definitely liked the parking area across the street when valet was not available. The location is great for access to shopping, movies, etc. Our room had some issues but was overall okay. We were not happy to not have access to the pool or gym during our stay. We understand that renovations were being done but it would have been nice to have access to the gym equipment, which could have been moved to a different area of the building. We picked that place because of the gym equipment, besides the location. Booking through Expedia is convenient but lessoned learned: call and double check on amenities. We would recommend the hotel but would have friends and family check first to make sure the pool and gym renovations are completed.

Trip was amazing. Bed was a little hard but loved the space in the room. Had some issues on the last night because of little kids but security was on top of the problem.

It was a great stay! Comfy beds, delicious breakfast and the staff was very accommodating. Recommend for couples and family trips.

The bartender was absent due to a family emergency and Cindy and Ashton stepped up and provided great service with a courteous attitude to a busy bar. The stay overall was excellent, as the hotel was clean, well decorated and conveniently located. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is amazing, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful! The pool was open and the kids really enjoyed swimming. I highly recommend this hotel!
