Shelter Cove was absolutely beautiful! I loved the seals, the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, the fresh clean smell, the cool breeze coming off the ocean. The beach was black sand and the water was cold but that didn't stop my boys from exploring the rocks and looking for crabs and sea shells.This is a place i definitely want to visit again, its good for couples and families,very quiet and calming. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. I think it was all just perfect and i cant wait to visit again! A hidden gem!

Beautiful location that couldn’t be any closer to the ocean. Donna was very considerate in removing one night from my reservation when a family issue came up after the cancellation period ended. Great place, great people. Will definitely stay again.

Our family loved everything about our stay. We fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean, and woke up to seal, otter, dolphin, deer, and turkey vulture viewing from our balcony. The small restaurant/coffee shop was spectacular. You really can’t beat this place. We toured the small town and had no regrets about our choice. You must also go to the local brewery/restaurant in town. It has outdoor live music, games, and of course delicious food.
