Great location - close enough to the beach but far away enough from the partying. We walked from the Amtrak station and used the downtown waterfront service mostly to get around with our toddler.

The staff here are lovely and everything was well run and organized. Easy check in and the room was spotless and updated. Great location, 12 minute walking distance to State Street and right on the beach. Our only issue was the pool pump was broken so the 'heated' pool was not so heated. Frustrating as that's why we picked the hotel and my kids did not swim because of it. But other than that, a great place. We took the train to Santa Barbara and were able to walk to the hotel - we didn't get in a car the whole time we were there. Amazing.

This is more of a motel than hotel. I appreciated the large room, free breakfast, free parking- including electric car charging, and free wifi. I liked that it's across the street from the harbor/ Beach and a park, which is great for families.
Dislikes: definitely more a motel than hotel. 10 minute walk to the wharf, and 25 minute walk to the main downtown Santa Barbara shops and restaurants.
There was a large lamppost right outside our window that shined light in our room all night despite the curtains being closed and really interrupted our sleep. The noise from the street and people in the halls was also unusually loud for a hotel- I'm used to staying places with sound proofing.
I booked a king bed, harbor view, room with balcony on Expedia, for my wedding anniversary. Expedia 's receipt just says "king harbor side", so I blame them, not the hotel, but we didn't have a balcony, and we are on the side of the harbor but without a great view (see photos), despite my showing the front desk what I booked.
Also, the hotel advertised their free happy hour, but it was just 2 bottles of wine with mini cups, some grapes and cheese, with toothpicks, but no crackers, see picture. This was very lame compared to the Hilton free Happy hours I've been to, where they offer various drinks and snacks. I mention Hilton specifically because all of the towels at this hotel say Hilton.
My husband says the website designer deserves a shout out for making everything look so good online

Great place to stay, my wife and kids enjoyed it. Really easy access to the beach within walk distance and the shops and restaurants as well. Overall great stay, enjoyed the breakfast, slept through the night no loud noises or anything around, awesome place.

The inn is right across the harbor. Spent the weekend with family. We took a walk to Chad's for brunch and Brophy Bros for a dinner. We had a great time. Excellent location!

Not happy about the swimming pool being ice cold. Pool heater was damaged from the last storm is what the front desk employee told me when I asked why the pool is cold. The employee said that it was on your website. Why would I keep looking at your website when I booked way in advance. We booked your location because of the inviting look and feel along with it having a pool so me and my kids could go swim. It would’ve been nice to get some kind of notification from the hotel letting me know that the pool isn’t operational prior to our arrival. Everything else was great! Nice clean room and entire complex as advertised.

The daily breakfast is a plus for a family with little kids. We can go downstairs to grab them something to eat to hold them over until we’re ready to hit the town.
My biggest issue is the loud air con/heater unit. It is not subtle or quiet. Very disruptive of sleep. The bathroom does need a new makeover. Very outdated and appear dingy and old.

There was a out of control family with couple young ones at midnight on a Saturday cruising around screaming and hooting and hollering in the hallways down by the pool. That's a little disturbing and then the kids above jumping around and banging and clunking around. It was kind of noisy that way too
