The hotel staff was very kind, the amenities were clean and well put together. I highly recommend this place for business, fun, or even just some time with the family.

We lost our baby sitter the day of our stay so I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t cancel. I understand that’s standard hotel policy now, so it didn’t bother me too much.
It’s a little weird to find the check in area because you have to take an elevator to get to it. We checked in okay, but noticed after we left that the lady gave us a key that we didn’t know what it went to. We get to the room, and my girlfriend is determined to figure out what the key goes to. She finally figures out. It’s a key to a minibar. She starts looking at the drains to see if there’s anything she may be interested in, and turns one of the drinks around because the label is facing backwards. I told her at that time that she might get charged for it. However, there was no note no sign anywhere saying that if we touched it, we had to pay for it sure enough however, at check out when I got my receipt we were charged for it just to make it clear she did not take the drink. She didn’t even lift the drink fully out of the minibar just slid the label around . Also, the coffee machine did not work when we checked out we let the person at the desk know the coffee machine did not work. His response was a nonchalant I’m sorry I’ll have someone look at it. For a $300 a night hotel I would’ve assumed the guy could at least offered my girlfriend a cuppa coffee. I know they have coffee pots and stuff downstairs. Also kind of annoying after I checked out.

Our stay was a great experience. The staff in front desk to the restaurant was very friendly and great service.
We will recommend it to our friends and family.

Being that this is one of the most expensive hotels in San Jose, I have to say, it’s not even close to worth it. Our toilet made a loud ringing when you’d flush it that woke everyone up when someone had to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Someone came to “fix” it when we first got there but his fix didn’t work. He was a really nice guy though. Complaining again to the front desk only prompted a “I’m sorry about that”. For the price of that room, that shouldn’t not have been allowed to happen. For a family of 4, the 2 double beds were way too small. They wanted to change you for early check in, $8 for a bottle of water, $45 for valet. I’m not cheap, rather I prefer to be smart with my money, so those prices ridiculous to me. The pool was very nice and clean. Don’t get me wrong, it was a nice hotel, but I struggled to see the value.

We have been coming here for 13 years, always loved our family getaway. We will find another from now on. Prices are insane, cleanliness is not a priority, room charge, food charge, $45 a day for valet whether you use it or not. Just ridiculous.

Stayed here for one night with my wife to escape our children. The hotel was great, the break from the kids was better. Its Santana Row so there are lots of bars and restaurants within very close proximity.

We enjoyed our Staycation at the Hotel Valencia during Memorial Day Weekend. The staff there were all very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable....family enjoyed the fitness room and pool. The décor was wonderful, Really liked the courtyard. The breakfast was excellent, delightful coffee. The location is perfect......on Santana Row. We will definitely return often.

Are you serious? I showed up with my wife and baby and there wasn’t a room for us. It was cancelled and no one had reached out to us. We were told Expedia overbooked and randomly sent 5 names over to cancel. Ours was one of them. Ruined our whole weekend and we had family in town. So sad.

The walls are things so are the doors. We can hear the next door talking sometimes, and every morning can hear people talking in the hall way.
The place May bit be kid friendly as the bars in the hotel are pretty busy at night, the fact that you have to take an elevator to the lobby sharing with bar-goers and take a second elevator to the room is kind of annoying
The location of the hotel is great if you want to visit santana row. But that's all.

We stayed at the hotel on a perks of the job trip. The Hotel was very nice in appearance in a nice area of San Jose, lots of shopping and choices of places to eat. We arrived late, tired and hungry so we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. The god was good enough but very overpriced not normal food choices. I asked for a dinner salad and was told they do not have one. The food was good enough but definitely not a place to eat with children. Our room was on the fourth floor and noise from the street kept me awake once I finally went to bed. We had booked the room for a additional night since it was our anniversary and the staff was accommodating in setting us up so we did not have to change rooms or get our keys reactivated the next day since it was two separate reservations. Hotel is only 3.5 blocks from the mystery house and that was nice we never had to get our car out. Parking was higher than I liked since there really was no place to self park close and convenient to the hotel so we felt compelled to use valet parking..
