I stayed in room 608 with my husband and rented an additional room for family. We stayed 3 days and everyday we stayed the shower water had low pressure and would stop running water at certain times during our showers. At one point I had conditioner in my hair and soap all over my body and the water completely shut off. Called front desk and lady who answered seemed overwhelmed and explained she was only one up front but that she would send someone. A maintenance employee showed a few minutes later and my husband showed him how the water wasn’t working and at the time we turned it on and it was coming out and the maintenance employee laughed like if we were lying and my husband told him to wait, maybe less than a minute later the water stops and the employee explained it’s coming from the boiler and that it’s not our shower. The shower continued to not work properly and when we were getting ready to leave and checking everything to ensure we had all of our belongings I notice what looked like vomit on the side of the bed. It was on the box spring. Also the fridge did not work. I understand I could’ve called and explained this to the front desk but they seemed overwhelmed and the hotel looked at full capacity.

The Piece of Wood above the balcony door is too low, my husband is 6'6" and he hit his head coming in and out of room at least 15 times during our stay. The Smoke Alarm is too sensitive. I couldn't blow dry my hair without setting it off every 30 seconds. I had to have the Front Desk bring up a fan so I could dry my hair. Building Announcement for Fire went off at about 1:15 am on Sunday night (10/1). Said Fire in building and for all to evacuate. So we all evacuated. Then it looked like there was 1 staff person, she was checking in a sports team. Nobody told us anything. I eventually asked the 1 staff person and she said false alarm. So I went around telling everyone it was a false alarm. After that the building intercom message went off another 3-4 times. While scary enough thinking of fire in a hotel and being on the 8th floor. It was worse for us because in September 2020 my family had to evacuate from Detroit, OR at 12:45 am due to massive wildfires. We almost didn't make it out due to downed trees. House was lost. Loved that Coffee/Hot Water and Microwave was available 24/7 (would be nice to have microwave in room) Victor - checked us in upon arrival. He was Wonderful!

We stayed at the Sheraton Mission Valley when we were moving our daughter back to San Diego State University. It was a great experience from check-in to check-out. Hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and the location was incredibly convenient as it is located a short drive from the university, as well as minutes from all the stores we needed for move in. While we didn't use the pool, it looked like other hotel guests were enjoying it, especially families with little ones. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed on the second floor every morning we were woken up between 4:30-5 am,I called the front desk it sounded like a herd of elephants running up and down the hall. I called the front desk the second day to complain and they said it was the gym a cross the hall? I asked to another room away from the gym they said they didn’t have one available. So we had to endure the banging every morning it was loud so every morning around 5am my family and I were woken up! Our last night there on a Sunday night we are leaving the next day, at 11PM Sunday evening the persistent banging and thumping started!! Waking up our two yr old and 6yr old daughters I called down to the front desk they said they can’t do anything it’s a 24hr gym?!? I went accords the hall and here are three young men working with the dumbells and kettle bells droppping them on the ground I was a little upset asking them not to drop or throw the weights on the floor as I have children and my wife and I trying to sleep across the hall. They obviously didn’t care I went down to the front desk again they said there was nothing they can do as it is a 24hr gym? A gym with NO RUBBER MATS UNDER THE WEIGHT AREA!! If there were mats it would deaden the sound???? This is no real gym it’s a room they turned into a gym. Any one staying on the 2nd floor near the gym should be warned about the noise? But before this we checked in on a Thursday we went out all day Friday got back to our room and it was not serviced?

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights with a 18mnt toddler and an 8 years old kid. The first impression during the check in was excellent. The lobby smells good and staff were very friendly and polite. Victor that did the check in for me offered a free upgrade to a suit room and made a tour to the room too. Also he gave free breakfast for the 1st day to whole family. The room itself was very clean but you could hear the highway noise. The breakfast buffet was very good with variety of options. The checkout process was smooth too. The access to the Highway was easy, but the area around the hotel was not suitable for walking. Overall I will choose to stay in this hotel if I travel to San Diego again.

I requested an ADA room with two Queen beds. When I arrived I was told the only ADA room they have is with one King bed. Traveling with my cousin I said Yes. We’d sleep together. The room was either too cold or too hot. Couldn’t find a happy medium. Bed was extremely comfortable however. We just bundled up under the comforter. The only towel rack in the bathroom was IN the shower. So the maid hung the towels on the bar for the toilet. It made using the bar to rise from sitting difficult. It was so weird. We couldn’t believe that we had to pay $28 per night for parking. It’s not secured. It’s not monitored. And the spaces are very narrow. They were hosting cage fighting during our stay and it made parking difficult due to the crowds that came to watch. Twice we attempted to call the front office for more towels We were told - not asked to be placed on hold. They didn’t return for a very long time so long I gave up the second time. The jacuzzi was comfortable. We left when a family of kids came to use it. Except for the phone issue we had great customer service. From the front desk to the maid everyone we met was nice and helpful.

The rooms were in terrible. The floors were dirty and they did not want to clean the rooms as they said they clean every three days. The bathrooms were dirty. The pool was terrible, full of leaves of the trees, dead insects which came in our mouths, me and my kids. We got red eyed because of the dirty pool. The tables and chairs around the pool were dirt and full of ants. The towels of the pool were of very bad quality and smell nasty. We got red patches on our bodies and we got apt of antibiotics and creams and nothing g affect it till now. We have videos and photos of every thing I mentioned. Unfortunately my kids are frustrated as they did not enjoy their holidays. I tried to call to call you three times to make a claim but every time I was left on the phone for more than an hour and nobody care to call me. We are really annoyed and unhappy of the treatment.

Went to this hotel thinking that my family and I will have a great Memorial day weekend. We drove 6hrs. And I only stayed there because Everywhere else was full and I was not going to drive 6hrs back home and ruin my 3 little kids vacation. When I went to the room I open the door and an awful smell hits you in the face, we could barely feel the air conditioner for our whole stay, the room felt humid. The fridge did not work properly, the bathroom was full of someone else’s hair that my wife had to clean up and sanitize and worst of all the carpet was so STICKY and DIRTY that we had to use shoes inside the room to keep our feet clean. I am in the military and I have stayed with Marriott every time I have annual training and PCS and I don’t remember staying in a room as dirty as this one. After paying almost $800 for the stay I think I could have been in a better room. This hotel looks more like a Motel 6 I have pictures of graffiti on the elevator and there was dog poop in the hall way. I asked a cleaning lady were was the laundry room and she said they didn’t have one (I was so frustrated that didn’t confirm this with the front desk). And now that I read the reviews on Google I can tell that Sheraton doesn’t care at all. Their response to the complains in Google are thank you for you review, we take it seriously and have a good day. Ridiculous…
