Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego Old Town

I traveled to San Diego with my whole family (12 of us) and had a great time. The hotel is close to everything, is very walkable with great food & shopping nearby. The staff was very helpul and friendly. The hotel is clean with great amenities and safe. We'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The kids enjoyed the games in the courtyard area. Would definitely stay again.

This is an older motel but very clean and well maintained. We appreciated so many things--the secure parking; the excellent front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping staff who went the extra mile; the exceptional breakfast choices way beyond standard; the beautiful pool area with extras for the adults and kids; plus the excellent location to the MTS system for going downtown and all the amenities of Old Towne that we love.

Bad experience. Are toilet didnt work. We asked to get fix while we left on are teip. Came back about 5pm toilet was not fixed. We had to call eoom service again.then while they cleaned are room they took my son's baby blaket probably tangle inside the sheets. We ask room service they said they well check laundy and get back to us befor 9pm never heard back.so in the morning before check out we ask again ans supposedly they have not seen anything.we looked on every corner in the room.we didn't fine it so to us this was bad experience. Also never been on a hotel that we have to pay 30 dollars a night for parking.

Great experience at the Fairfield. Everything was clean and functioning properly around the property. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and will come back.

The room door was a little hard to open and close, maybe because it is a bit out dated building. We had a bit of trouble getting the air conditioning to cool the room, but at the end we got it going. The beds are very comfortable, the pool looked pretty cool and descent. Breakfast was perfect for our family. Over all it went very well.

Housekeeping did not visit our room during our two night stay. We ran out of facial tissues the first afternoon (there were only four when we arrived). Our bath towels weren't refreshed after our first night. We resorted to using the poolside towels (for which we were very grateful) - but even after informing the front desk that we needed bath towels - and the front desk said they'd get right on it - we never received fresh towels. We were a family of four. So, that was very inconvenient, and frankly irritating. Beds were never made - except by us. That was okay. But had we run out of bathroom tissue - we would have really been upset. The tip off that housekeeping was lackadaisical was that on our arrival date, they were still standing around visiting in the hallways until nearly 5:00pm. Not doing much of anything. It's a shame, because the hotel is well located, and the breakfast is nice. Manager was unconcerned about our situation.

Wonderful place with helpful friendly staff. The free breakfast had so many great options, best free breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel! The room was nice although the bed was kind of hard. The pool and spa area was very nice and the pool was heated which was great for the kids. The street parking was very limited which was the only complaint I would have since that required us to have to pay $25 for their garage parking. Overall a great place to stay and in walking distance to old town.

My stay at this hotel was great! I went to San Diego to visit old town and this hotel was literally in front of old town San Diego. I was able to walk there with my family.

Very disappointed with this hotel . As me and my family walked into the room and turned on the lights there was roaches on the wall and in the restroom. I immediately called front desk and they moved me to a different room. Hotel is very run down and there was blood stains on the sheets. Disgusted. Will never stay there again.
