Blue Sea Beach Hotel

Good stay great location. Downside was a family of 40 was also staying and they basically had the pool and hot tub packed full all day, as well as the laundry and ice machine. They also rinsed their bodies, suits and sand toys in the spa and pool instead of the courtesy shower on the pool deck which was frustrating. I love that the hotel is “family” oriented but I wish there were some restrictions to allow other guests to enjoy the pool, any of the chairs and couches and the spa. For the bulk of the time, we couldn’t even find pool chairs to sit in if we wanted to. At one point, we had to call the front desk and ask what the time limit and spa capacity were because there were 27 kids and teens in there. The hotel was great. Parking was decent and location was perfect. Just need some protective measures in place so that all guests can enjoy the space equally.

Our stay was great! The Wayfare was clean, family oriented and right off the beach. Parking is a little tight but we had no issues fitting into a spot with our jeep. The staff are very friendly and helped us with places to eat, bike rentals etc. I’ve already booked our trip for next year with them. I especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and watching the sunset. Not more you can ask for!

If you get a room facing the beach it tends to get pretty noisy with the door open. Once you shut the door it's quiet though. Is a great hotel for families, they have everything you could possibly need for a day at the beach. Out of 3 trips to SD this was the best hotel experience I have had. The area is probably one of the best areas to stay at as well. Close to SeaWorld and Seaport village.

We love this hotel for our small family vacations! The location is great, the amenities are perfect for a short trip, and you can’t beat the view! I do wish the room we had this time was different, since there was barely a foot between the end of the bed and the dresser making it a very tight squeeze. Other than that, it was a great trip and we will be back!

Great setting right on Mission Beach, close to restaurants. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Parking at $35 a day is a poke in the eye but that is nature of area. Building exterior could do with refurbishment and the week we were there the smell of weed permeated the passages - not a good image for a non-smoking family hotel. Otherwise enjoyed it.

The pool access room was the perfect option for my family! It was unbelievably convenient when going to the beach or to the pool. There are a ton of seating options outside that allow you to enjoy the relaxing sound of the ocean.

Nothing but great things to say about the staff, the property, and how close it was to everything. Thank you for a wonderful trip with my family.

Thank you to the best stay in San Diego. I truly enjoyed myself. I appreciate the comfort of my room, the beautiful views, ease of finding restaurants and the wonderful boardwalk. I can't say enough about the customer service - the smiles and feeling like I'm staying with family. I feel safe at The Wayfarer and absolutely love it. I melt in the pillows and absolutely love the great water pressure hot showers. Thanks again for always knocking it out of the park. This is my favorite piece to stay.
