This hotel was a little quirky but it was comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed the location which was walkable to the park near the ferry. The breakfast room was small with many grab and go choices. There was plenty of seating in the open air courtyard. The room was small as well but it suited our needs. The pool had a max depth of 3 1/2 feet which my kids enjoyed. I would stay here again.

I would say that this Hotel is one of the best values in San Diego. The staff was great and it met all of our family needs. It is not the quietest location. We were on the first floor and could hear people talking throughout the night in the alley that runs behind the hotel. We also have a lifted vehicle and it did not fit I. The parking structure so we had to park a block away, but that is not uncommon or unusual on Coronado. But the facilities were great for what we needed it for and the pool and jacuzzi were excellent. We plan to stay there again and for a longer time.
PS- coffee machine in the lobby was pretty decent!

This is an ok property but it's very overpriced for what it is. The location alone is not worth the price. The room was spacious but the bathroom was tiny. Comically tiny. There was no view, it was a building and the tops of some large outdoor umbrellas. We were on the first floor which was great because I was staying overnight for an outpatient procedure at the hospital, which is very close. However, the people above us were very noisy and seemed to have children running around the room for hours. The complimentary breakfast was well liked by my mother and son.

We were staying at the Best Western while visiting my son who is stationed on Coronado. We stayed 6 days. It was perfect for my family which included my two daughters, two son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren 4 and under. The suites were large and comfortable. We liked the Grench doors separating the bedroom from the living room. The complimentary breakfast also was perfect for our group because there were plenty of grab and go options including vegan options which we needed. The location is walkable to food and shops and the Ferry landing if you need it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the courtyard/patio area with all the tables and chairs to eat outdoors. We were able to park in the basement level garage every day but it is a little tight if you have a large car. The pool unfortunately was being repaired during our stay however it was also a little cool most of the days we were there so we didn’t miss it. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very basic and dated hotel. The sheets were clean so that was a plus and the breakfast had a lot of options but again basic and just okay at best. I just liked that there were two rooms where we stayed for our big family.

Kids loved the breakfast bar and pool. Great breakfast selection. Staff was super friendly. Good value for the price and great room layout for a family with mini frig and two rooms in the one we selected.
Overall the room and linens were clean - but room itself could use some attention / updating. For example, hide a bed mattress and sofa itself were stained and very worn out looking, wall paper was bubbled or pealing in places (probably just poorly installed) and doors within the room were sticky and could use a good cleaning with degreaser.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s a beautiful area and within walking distance to the ferry that takes you to downtown San Diego. The rooms are great and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at this price point. The customer service, however, is awful! The check-in person was extremely rude and unprofessional! My room was an hour and a half late and nobody will help compensate me for this time lost. However, I was told that they would “most definitely” charge me if I vacated the room late. When I was finally given the room key, I wasn’t told where the room was or about breakfast service- just given the cold shoulder by a kid who clearly hated his job. You can do better for that price Best Western!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The drive with three children was hectic and once we arrived their wonderful customer service made us feel at ease.

Great location! Just a few blocks from the ferry landing. Lots of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was pretty sad, opted not to eat there the next morning. Staff friendly and check in was quick. It’s great they have a parking garage! Pool was super tiny but no one ever uses it so we had it to ourselves. Room was spacious and had 2 ACs so it was cool in there except they were quite noisy ac units. Area as a whole was quiet and clean. If you’re using the fridge, make sure it’s on as soon as you check in. Ours wasn’t so we had to wait 6 hours or so before we could store the baby’s milk in there. Would stay here again.
