I loved the hotel and especially our room. My grandkids were so excited about the size of the room and the decor. My grandson said when he walked in: “WOW!!!! This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever been in.” It was great. Clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We were greeted with smiles by everyone of the staff. I will stay at this hotel every time I’m in the Carlsbad area. Loved it! Thank you Fairfield.

We had a pleasant stay. Rooms were large and spacious for our family of five. Beds were comfy. Walls were extremely thin though. Nothing walking distance but short drive away. Overall, we would stay here again.

This property was nice to stay at. It was very quiet and just off the road so it feels a little remote. Breakfast in the morning was easy and good for the whole family.

Room cleaning not done on time we got it once in 4 nights only with a fight. Property manager thinks this is ok . This is NOT ok considering I have small kids and important to have clean surroundings . Extremely argumentative property manager. He claimed we had DND sign on.please don’t lie Mr Manager. Understand you are short staffed. Also vacuuming isn’t included in the cleaning .Did not expect this from Marriot won’t be returning

The staff was very friendly and the ability to do laundry was great. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Housekeeping kept knocking on our door throughout the morning and came in my room while I was in the bathroom and my kid was sleeping.

we did not like the fact that there was only 1 hook to hang up clothing, no towel racks The hide away bed did not work well and had to be fixed. Our kids room had a broken sink and the plumbers could not fix it for 3 days. The staff was very friendly and tried to help where they could.

I really enjoyed my time while staying here! The staff was great and so friendly to both my mother, my kids and I. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is nestled away in a secluded location, yet still close to so many attractions. Legoland, the Carlsbad State beach, and the Premium Outlets were minutes away. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Convenient for Legoland visitors (9 min drive) and the king bed suite was quite roomy for our family of 4. We also enjoyed the free daily breakfast and access to coffee/hot tea all day. However the pull out bed was horrible - nothing but springs. Could use better /more comfortable bedding as well.
