JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa

Nice resort. Rooms are specious. I just wish they didn’t have carpets. As carpets were dirty. Specially when u have little ones that want to sit on the floor. Bathroom and bed was amazing. Staff are super kind and friendly.

If you’re looking to get away for an adults only type trip this place is not it. It’s become very family friendly and full of kids. If that’s what you’re looking for this is a great place. We came to get away and have a relaxing time at the pool. This place was full of kids screaming and splashing.

My family and I came to try it for one night. It was ok and a nice location. However, staff was not super attentive in the lobby bar/dining area. Asked 3-4 people working to help us and I was told someone is on their way and never came so we left and went back to our room. Pool was super crowded as expected but overall maintained well and good service in sweltering heat. The room was nice but no ventilation in the bathrooms made the room smell odd, like old towels, after we showered. We didn’t dine at the restaurants since they were fully booked. The best part was check in, Veronica was amazing and super helpful. Unfortunately it didn’t spill into the rest of our stay. Thankfully only stayed for one night. Fun fact: Saved by the Bell was filmed here for a few episodes when Jessie’s dad got married. That nostalgia was kinda cool!

Beautiful place, however when i arrived at the pool area, i was disappointed to see kids at all the pools i visited. The adult pool, also had children there, with no enforcing Adult only area. Some people visit for relaxation purposes but didn't get that, with all the kids everywhere. Maybe next time have better or stricter rules.

The property should say if there is a post narcotics and alcohol retreat happening. I applaud the journey of these individuals but this is a family resort, not a party venue. I won’t stay here every again

Great for family with kids , definitely will be back

Our check in wasn’t great one or the employees checked us in and didn’t give us any information at all. We had no idea of all the amenities. Our door key stopped working at the worst possible time and it turns out the door lock died. We had to wait for security and it took forever. This happened late at night so it was terrible. My baby was not happy. Josie one of the employees was so helpful! She seemed to be the only one that cared about the inconvenience. It seemed like during our stay a whole bunch of teens also stayed. They kept running back and forth in the halls banging on doors. It seemed like no one cared or said anything to them. All in all the property is beautiful.
