Best Western Plus Black Oak

The Best Western is an average hotel/motel. It's located right off the highway on a commercial street in Paso Robles. Its location is a short drive to downtown, making it convenient to wine tasting, shopping and restaurants. I can see how families enjoy the pool and jacuzzi which both looked clean and inviting. Right now there's construction going on, which is a minor inconvenience. Weekend pricing was $360/night - what the market can bear. But the price/value ratio is skewed all over Paso.

Very impressed with this hotel amenities, friendliness, helpfulness. I am a zBest Western member and will stay here more often on my visits to grandkids, wine tasting trips. Very centrally located snd easy to get to.

Everything about this property was AWESOME. Decor was modern, clean and very attractive. Pool and hot tub were awesome--not nasty and dank but clean and bright and great for lounging. Snack bags in the front office were an added perk. Fitness room! Great water pressure. Soft water. Microwave and fridge--so good for families and getaways for 2. The onsite diner has the BEST friggin' food, it's cheap, FAST, and the service was spectacular! Location is right near the highway, and has numerous AWESOME restaurants next door- startbucks, insane pizza and gelato bar, Mexican spot, hot fried chicken, etc. I mean, c'mon. For the first time EVER, a Best Western surprised me in a good way.

Older property but it is VERY WELL KEPT. Super charming and family friendly. It has all the necessities. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Very average place. We booked the family suite and it was very noisy. You could hear everytime the adjacent room's toilet flushed and shower was on with the same loudness as if it was our own. Also, we were adjacent to the cleaning room and you could loudly hear the elevator they were using to move the laundry between floors. Overall, not worth the exorbitant cost.

This is very inviting accommodations for a single/family stay. Clean rooms with fresh linen, bath/shower/sink is in a perfect condition. Very quiet AC! Lots of options for entertainment: TV, DVD, radio receiver. The only part that I missed was a bluetooth (or wire) connection in the receiver. These days we all carry our favorite music on the phones ;)
