Fairfield Inn & Suites Tustin Orange County

Unable to open door using key card. Had to use maximum force to open. Stench was from some smoke. We wanted smoke free room with children staying. The front desk had no answer

Hotel is clean. Parking is $15 per night (most hotels charge parking now). Starbucks and Subway you can walk to next door. Rooms have microwave and coffee pot, we didn’t use. Air conditioner works good, no issues. Rooms are quiet we didn’t hear any noise from outside or from other rooms. Bed wasn’t as comfy as I would like but it wasn’t terrible. Television was really slow. Had to enter my own Netflix account and took for ever to log off. Bathroom is a large, shower (no tub) good water pressure, there are soap dispensers with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. Only issue I had was the shower floor can be slippery for small children, my daughter slipped. Should be fine for adults however if traveling with kids or elderly people place a towel mat to be on the safe side. Breakfast is very basic. Had to wait for them to restock food. Kitchen staff seemed annoyed and not friendly. There is only one toaster for the entire hotel, does take a long time to heat-up toast, ended up eating my food cold because it was stressful having people behind me waiting. Rooms are clean, no funky smells, it’s non-smoking hotel, complimentary breakfast, pool, hot tub, gym, good location. It’s a 3.5 hotel with enough amenities, okay beds, nothing fancy although breakfast is less than desirable. Nice enough for a short stay.

I spent one night with family trip and felt very comfortable.

You could hear some noise from highway, but it doesn't impact the sleep. The hotel is very clean which is very important for us with two little ones. The breakfast could be better if more options are available.

This Fairfield location was an ideal spot for picking up our rental car and venturing around Tustin during our recent family visit. This was our 2nd stay here and we will come back again, I'm sure.

We had a large family group staying there to attend a wedding. The hotel is close to highways, and it's easy to get to places, including John Wayne Airport. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the breakfast quite good.
