Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel

We had to make last minute arrangements for 3 adults and 2 children and found Best Western in Lake Forest. It offered a one bedroom with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but worked for the kids. The breakfast offered was great! The price also great compared to other hotel rooms that slept fewer people.

Nice hotel, large rooms so that was great for our larger family. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use the amenity. The room was dark, lights were placed in strange places, the bathroom had no ventilation which made the room muggy at times, one of the two TVs didn't work but it wasn't a huge deal. The biggest downfall was the parking, we arrived back to the room late due to attending an event and there was no parking for our small SUV. Parking spaces are extremely small and the small cars parked in two spaces or in the "truck" parking so not everyone could park, other patrons had to park in the parking lot for the hotel next door as well. The front desk was nice enough to let me park in front of the entrance. The breakfast was hardy and good for a starter before leaving the hotel. We will return in the future.

This was a great budget stay. The room we had consisted of two queen beds and a sofa bed which worked for my family of 6. Remember it was a budget friendly stay so some minor things can be overlooked. The breakfast was excellent and they had different options throughout our stay. About a 20 minute drive to the beach.

Had a good 2 night stays with my family would recommend

I liked that our room was big enough to sleep my family of 6. The hotel is badly in need of a remodel however. The matresses were so lumpy and the carpet was pretty questionable. But the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Stay was good, It was hard to sleep one of the nights as the child in the room next to me was crying all night, I would have liked to be able to use the hot tub but the water was barely even getting warm so it was not even worth getting in. The room was very clean and spacious.

Easy access and not noisy; I Love the option of Family Room; 2 comfortable queen beds and sofa bed with TV each, Breakfast was very good and complete: Eggs, Jam or Bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, bread, Waffles, Fruits, muffins, cereal, yogurt, oat, juice, milk, coffee; My family loved coffee and chocolate machine. Breakfast concierge 5/22 was so friendly, went to our table to asked if everything was ok, but not the same opinion for the one on 5/23, he was rude, told us breakfast finish at 9:00 and started picking up items we were still using rather than pick up other items, I understand time is very important but there are manners to do exactly the same. We had great time and definitely I and my family will return.

Staff was very friendly, the room itself was nice and clean, it had plenty of room for me and my kids, surprisingly the bathroom was very clean compared to most hotels, tv had a good amount of chanels, breakfast every morning was delicious. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Stayed for 12 nights with no complaints! Friendly staff and great breakfast. Room was spacious enough for our family of 5. Felt very safe and accommodated. Would definitely recommend this budget friendly hotel!
