Personally, I love this hotel, since it is very quiet and accessible to several places, Newport is relatively close, as is the shopping center and several restaurants, it is in very good location. The only detail is that on this trip they gave us a shared room, and in the other room there was a couple with children who were screaming a lot and it seemed that the we had in our room, but I recognize that this is not a problem of the hotel, but of the parents who do not educate their children to make them understand that they are not in an amusement park but rather in a hotel where people need to rest. But the hotel itself and its staff are exceptional.

I didn't like that we could hear all the noise from the adjacent rooms, we could clearly listen to what people were talking about, kids crying at 5 am, etc.

Stayed here for three nights to be close to an event I was attending. Staff was friendly and attentive but I would not recommend if traveling with a baby. They have no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms and nothing super close for food unless you want to overpay for mediocre food at the restaurant. They also charge 37 dollars a day to self park which is absolutely ridiculous. The gym was great and they have a peloton bike and tread. The hotel is super dog friendly and has a great pond to take the pups to. There is a Starbucks about half a mile away but I prefer independent coffee shops and restaurants. Super close to south coast plaza which is nice but I wasn’t there to shop. I likely wouldn’t come back.

I’m breastfeeding and traveling without my baby, and had called ahead to make sure they had a freezer to accommodate storing milk safely. Once I arrived multiple staff could not answer if they could store my milk for hours. Finally they agreed to put it in the kitchen freezer. When I collected it the next morning, it had not been frozen and was warm. I had to throw out two days worth of milk, which was devastating. I travel for work frequently and have never had this issue before.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was their on business for 8 days so I was there quite some time. The room was clean and comfortable. I seriously slept like a baby. It was quiet and all was good. I also thought the hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly which honestly makes your stay very nice. Its in a great location. Its close to the freeway, across the street from south coast plaza mall, and many restaurants in the area. The few things I would note as cons were the following- -WIFI- didn't work well in my room so my calls etc were difficult on my cell. -TV- had enough of a selection to watch shows but not an extended list or entertainment to purchase -parking- parking is an additional cost which can add up if you are staying there for an extended amount of time. Again I had a great stay and recommend it but these are things people should know.
