JW Marriott Anaheim Resort

I cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel and the amazing staff. The location was great! We had a view of the parks and fireworks from our room. We were able to get an early check in on our way to another family adventure. When we come back to the area, we will stay here for sure!

Took the kid's to Disneyland for my sons 5th birthday and the stay was amazing! Luxurious feel and direct access to the Anaheim garden walk where you can find shops, restaurants, and booths. Hotel was clean,safe and staff were attentive! Valley parking only so keep that in mind, and breakfast is not included. But to be honest it was worth every penny. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to disney park was so convenient. The "Toy Story" bus line is just a walking distance from the Hotel.

Stayed here for family Disneyland trip. This was our first JW Marriott experience. We truly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful resort and top notch service. Every touch point with all staff member was great - always welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be back and will now look at JW Marriott options for future vacations. Tip for family going to Disneyland- you can walk to the Toy Story parking lot and take the Disneyland shuttle, which is only a 4 minute walk from the hotel.

Very enjoyable stay with family. Service was great and kept very clean. Nearby to Disneyland and an easy walk with kids.

Property is new and rooms are clean and look new. Great bathroom. Not great for families as only one unheated pool with no hottub. Resort fee was added and room upgrade fee for higher floors and earlier checkin.

Came in early from our international flight around noon, check in is at 4pm, saw us with our daughter asleep and they let us check in early with no extra cost. Shopping mall at and restaurants where you can walk to, cheesecake factory etc, and play area for kids to play.

Everything as advertised. 5 minute walk to Toy Dtory carpark for free shuttle to Disney was great as were restaurants in close proximity. Disney fireworks barely visible from Park View rooms and piped music from adjacent mall very late and early in morning (or from JW Marriott Garden) means that I wouldn’t book these rooms again. Rest of family didn’t hear the music so may only be an issue for sensitive sleepers.

This hotel has an amazing decor and rooms are very clean. However, the best of it is the breakfast, the convenience of being close to Disney, the shopping, and last but not the least, the outstanding customer service. Scott did a fantastic job caring for my and my family. Will come back again!

My family and I had a terrible… TERRIBLE… check in experience. We got to the hotel at 12:00 to drop off our bags and leave them with valet so we could tour around Anaheim until our check in time at 4:00PM. We got back at 5:00 PM and our rooms weren’t ready. My brother’s was the first ready at 6:30 PM. My parent’s afterwards at 7:00 PM. My sister in law even paid a 100 USD deposit to secure two connecting rooms would be ready since she has 3 kids, and the rooms weren’t ready until past 10:00 PM. The kids had to sleep in the car. Unacceptable. We were greeted by Huntington and Jessica who were very accommodating and sweet, I’m grateful for their patience. But afterwards we were met by Alexis who left a lot to be desired of the hospitality service the Marriott chain is known for. Our rooms were never made during our stay, we were there for 3 nights. And the compensation that was promised to my mother and sister in law was never given. I’ve stayed in various Marriott hotels before, but never had this kind of experience, very disappointing.

We arrived 2 hours after check- in time and our room was still not available. We were given another room however the room did not have a view of Disneyland which was the whole point of our hotel choice is JW Marriot had park views as an option. I had to call front desk who directed me to a manager just to approve a discount which should be common practice and automatic. Also very disappointed our room was next to staff stock room? Room did not have a microwave and a laundry room was not on the premises And a Shuttle to the park was not available from the Hotel. I would not recommend JW Marriot to friends or family.
