Hotel smells of burnt food, cigarettes, and animal urine. On the bright side we were able to check in early. We were here from out of town for a family event. We ended up returning to the hotel at 1:00am only to find a roach in the kitchen area. We immediately grabbed our things and got out of there. We notified the front desk. They were able to call the neighboring hotel and get our deposit waived. On the bright side we were given a full refund. I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Breakfast was excellent. Good variety each day that appeals to kids and adults. Checking in/out was quick and easy. Downside is the pool area and basketball court is in need of some repairs. Cement around pool has multiple holes where cement is missing and if you don’t have water shoes you’re stepping on pieces of cement that eventually make there way into the pool and hot tub.

My family and i had a really bad experience when we arrived at our room there was cockroaches in the kitchen it was terrible never staying there again.

I’m terms of cleanliness, I did find a needle in the bed sheet/comforter. Not sure if this would count toward cleanliness, but it is hazardous and I am afraid of future instances in case there were a child or animal in the room.

It was an amazing stay. Everything was clean and sanitized. I was able to check in online prior to arrival to help save time and not have to wait in line at the front desk. The front desk rep was extremely nice and helpful. She provided superb customer service. My mother left her purse in a rush to check out and the front desk rep went to the room, got her purse and held on to it until we came back for it. I was greatly appreciative of her for doing this and this will be the hotel of choice any time I’m up north visiting my family.

As a family of 5 we went to Copa América and stayed here for four nights and couldn't be happier. Our room with a queen and a sofa bed was awesome it also had a full kitchen with all the necessities. Staff was so friendly and helpful they even let us check in almost two hours early. Awesome breakfast. Newark is a great location and this hotel is right off of the freeway and you don't have the craziness of some of the surrounding bigger cities but everything was still pretty close pretty much within an hour or less. I highly recommend this hotel.
