Hotel staff were amazing showing us directly to our room and accomodating with needs. I didnt realize the main road was so busy so there was some background motorcycle and truck noise. My only gripe was family checking in above us at 11:30 pm and spent 1 hr "stomping" (it seemed) and moving the heavy chairs. I explained thar felt pads on the feet may alleviate this for people on the bottom floor. Overall our vineyard suite room was amazing with great view, huge shower and unexpected heating bathroom floors. Would stay again.

We had a much anticipated reservation at The French Laundry with family so my partner and I decided to splurge even more and get a hotel room for the night, instead of trekking back to San Francisco with overly full bellies. After too much research, we stumbled upon the Senza Hotel. It was close to Yountville, dog-friendly, had wheelchair accessible rooms available, and appeared relaxing based on the pictures on the website. The price was steep for one night, but hey, we're splurging here...
The day we checked in, the hotel called. I was anticipating the dreaded, "we don't have any wheelchair accessible rooms available," as we too often hear, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were offering a room upgrade to a suite, but it had 2 queens instead of a king, like we booked, so they wanted to make sure that the upgrade would still work for us. We immediately said yes, and were even more excited. What great customer service!
The hotel was amazing! The bathroom was mind blowing; a roll-in shower, double vanity, and soaking tub! There was a wall mounted flat screen TV, which made in-bed TV viewing comfortable, a gas fireplace, a wine fridge, and a nespresso machine. The beds were comfortable too. There was a sizable porch for coffee sipping while you enjoy your complimentary breakfast. Everything was so modern, clean, and just overall impressive. Aside from the bathroom, the favorite part of our stay was the fact that our room opened right to the garden.

I had a wonderful romantic weekend at this boutique hotel. The gardens were amazing, almost magical at night with lights and fountains. While I wouldn't recommend bringing younger children this hotel was definitely one of the best I have ever experienced.
