This is a really good hotel - the rooms are spacious, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the views are great and the location is really convenient. We also liked the fact that a small additional fee covered our parking and free breakfast for the family. Note that the hotel is divided into multiple buildings within the same complex and some of the buildings don't have an elevator to get to the second floor.

Went to Monterey for my birthday get-away. The hotel was simply fabulous. The room was huge, clean and with the exception of what seemed like a kid bouncing off the walls in the room above us, it was an excellent place to stay. Looking forward to returning and staying for more than 1 night.

We stay in the area every year to be near family. This hotel was above and beyond better than anywhere else we have stayed. Also had way better breakfast then any other buffet breakfast at hotles too. Staff was very helpful and kind. We will be booking here every year from now on!!

The room was very nice. There were a lot of kids that were noisy and the road was noisy. Otherwise everything else was great. The service was great also.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days this past week while we were in Monterey to sightsee along the PCH. We had a wonderful stay here! The look of the hotel outside and inside is very warm, cozy and inviting, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the bathroom was spacious and very clean (actually everything was very clean), the WiFi was fast, and it was a perfect location; within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and the wharf. The front desk staff was awesome. They accommodated all our requests and made us feel welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Abrego and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Can't wait to go back!

Had a great stay! Easy to walk into downtown Monterey and every where else is an easy drive away. Room is spacious for a family of four with kids. Staff was friendly and communicative in helping us with an early check in. Only con- I think hotel could use some new towels. But I would still stay here again even if they don’t change that :)
