Holiday Inn Express Fremont-Milpitas Central, an IHG Hotel

We had a nice, pleasant stay. Good location to get to family and activities, meals, and shopping.

Very clean place with a wonderful breakfast. Pool was heated and kids had a great time. Great spot for a stop through highly recommended

The 1B suite was advertised as sleeping 3 adults and 1 child, but it doesn't. The sofa in the living room is not a pull out, just an ordinary loveseat. So, the room sleeps a max of 2 (unless you're the grandparents from Willy Wonka). Given that most people book suites because they're traveling as a family, not because the "sitting area" is an important feature in a motel by the highway, this deception is a big deal. There is no A/C in the bedroom. The thermostat and window unit are in the living room (where there's no bed). There's no vent in the bedroom, and the windows are engineered not to open more than 2". It was sweltering. Then, the hotel staff was hostile to me because I had booked on hotels.com. When I called the front desk and pointed out that my "4-person" room slept only 2, the clerk's response was, "Oh well, you booked through hotels.com. It's not our responsibility." I explained that hotels.com is a booking site and doesn't dictate the content of a hotel's description. I also pointed out that the hotel had accepted a prepaid reservation for 3 people in a room that slept 2. Nothing. I finally asked if we could get a rollaway, and she said, sure, $20. After a long time arguing, the manager finally comped the rollaway, like it was very magnanimous of her, in now way giving us the room that we paid for.

4 of us stayed here (2 adults and 2 children) the room is spacious and clean just like all other reviews said. We had a late check in so I contacted the hotel to make sure we have two beds and they responded quickly and reassured me that would be no problem. We had a good time here. We used to stay at Double Tree in previous visits, but this one will definitely be our first choice in the future.
