Excellent stay! Great location! The hotel was clean, very appealing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was family friendly but also business centric, if you are there for work. The area around the hotel was very serene as well.

Property is beautiful and impeccable but in an odd location. You can also hear everything from units above you. Management seem to still be learning how to run a business. The service at the restaurant is terrible. We got a voucher to eat at the restaurant, we couldn’t use it because they have incompetent people working at the restaurant. We sat for 10-15 minutes and the waiter couldn’t even manage to bring us the menu. There was one guy serving 5 small tables which is very reasonable, yet he walked up and down in a bad mood achieving nothing! They also seem to serve something different to what is advertised on their menus, and you have to ask for happy hour/kids menu options.

This is a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. I liked the text messages after checking in asking if anything was needed to make our stay more comfortable which made the request for getting new towels and our room to be cleaned very easy. There were a couple of issues in our room such as a stain on the chair for the desk in the room (hopefully it was just coffee) and a strange stain on the headboard that couldn’t be wiped off after we tried. It would have been great to be able to adjust the shower nozzle to change the pressure but I expected lack of pressure from other reviews. But other than that the room felt clean and safe. The pool was heated and nice for the kids to swim even when it was chilly outside. I would definitely stay here again. Great access to the freeway.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It’s right by the freeway and we only booked as a place to crash while visiting nearby family, but it was actually pretty stylish and very comfortable. A lot of bang for the buck, including a heated pool, fire pits, an onsite restaurant and bar, and a location near a trailhead. My only real complaints: no lunch service (which wasn’t convenient while we were working), bad shower pressure (and only moderately warm water the first night), and the food is just OK. But overall we’d definitely go back! I even think it’s a cute spot for an unpretentious staycation. I loved the pool (which was warm enough to get into even on a 69 degree day.) And they built a big stone wall behind the pool to block the freeway noise. All you see it’s rolling hills and Oaks. You’d think you were in the country instead of right next to the 101. If you go, visit Rose’s Garden Bar for lunch. Really fun pretty place about a 3 minute drive from the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Cambria in Calabasas, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply unsatisfying. One of the major issues was the constant inaccessibility of the on-site restaurants, which was extremely inconvenient and not what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, a significant amount of my clothes went missing during my stay, adding to the distress. The situation worsened when there was a serious altercation in the hotel, involving a substantial police and fire department response. This incident disrupted our stay and frightened my children, impacting our overall sense of safety and comfort. These events combined to make our stay at Cambria far from pleasant, and it’s important for potential guests to be aware of these issues. Feel free to use this as is or make any further adjustments to better match your experience.

Stayed 2 nights, first night the AC was not working properly and we notified the front desk twice and didn't get anything fixed. One the next day, strongly requested the AC fix and finally they switch us to a new room. However, we can not move at once, one of my family members will come back later, the front desk said we can have both rooms until later night. However, around the dinner time and my friend is picking me up. One hotel technican came and stopping me to get in the car. He asked me to move our staff right a way. He is very rude and even to my friend. I can move my family member staff right now and he said he will do so. Later that nignt, we found we were still able to get in the old room. Very curious why the technician was rude to me, because I'm Asian?

A true hidden gem, an incredible deal for the quality and amenities of the hotel. My family went for Labor Day weekend and took full advantage of the pool, gym, and dining options and everything was great. Very quiet, spacious, and modern. Highly recommend - we will return!

This hotel was the perfect location for friends and family to gather for our daughter's graduation from Pepperdine. The rooms are clean, the pool area was fun and we hiked every morning on the hills behind the hotel. Also, it was nice to come back to the sun in the Valley after spending time in the cool mist/fog in Malibu.
