Avid Hotels Fayetteville West, An IHG Hotel

Clean, nice staff, great location, good parking access and walkable to Walmart or various fast food. Beds and linens were very comfy. I probably wouldn’t stay here for extended days being the rooms are quite small but they suit us perfectly when visiting our kids. Decent hotel breakfast!

First off, the property is clean and modern. I’m a good area and the breakfast had good choices. However, the people above let their kids run and jump off the bed for HOURS. At one point it sounded like they were gonna crash through the ceiling. It was so loud it literally shook my bed at one point. So thanks to that had a pounding headache. I called the front desk who said she’d call & it subsided a little. They carried on though, in the middle of the night slamming things on the floor. And then letting their kids resume whatever they wanted it the morning. So as a result had an awful experience and almost no sleep.

I arrived and no one was at the front desk. Waited 5 minutes, went to the restroom came back and no one was there. Waited a few minutes and called the hotel and finally someone came. She griped about the phone ringing and being busy. She gave me my room and said there were a bunch of kids staying and they were loud but that I was away from them. Went to my room and the bed was unmade. She gave me another room next door and walked me in to check it and it was unmade too. She gave me another room on a different floor but unfortunately it was on the loud floor. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, the walls are very thin!

Near and clean but rooms are kind of congested to move around. Get kicked off from their WiFi network frequently and doesn’t auto connect. A sofa or recliner would be great but they don’t have any space to put it. Good for a single or for a couple, specially for young folks. But, not recommended for families with kids.
