Super cute cozy hotel. Out stay was amazing, especially when you visit town to see family and can take your dogs along. Feels like home. It’s like an hacienda vibe with beautiful landscaping. Thai is my 3rd time staying there and I will 100% go back.

I love the rooms. They are spacious and clean always and I always feel safe staying there by myself. The only thing I wish is that they had a couple ice machines available outside of the lobby other than that I always enjoy my stay there and am a bit sad when it's time to leave. I also like the fact that they are pet friendly and have a nice grass area for the furkids.

This property was an old homestead that has been converted into a hotel. I had a king suite that was superb - big bedroom and big dining/living room suitable for my business meetings. The on-site restaurant is wonderful, with indoor and outdoor dining, a large bar and excellent food. There is no complimentary breakfast now, but the food served at the breakfast buffet is 2 steps higher in quality than the complimentary breakfasts served at many places. Its only 8 minutes from U of A, so keep that in mind when visiting your kid on college.

We really enjoyed our stay from learning about the history of the lodge to enjoying the beautiful grounds, the pool and the restaurant! Our room was a little stuffy and I had some trouble getting the temperature to where it wasn’t too cold. I would have like to use the overhead fan for air circulation but I did not ask to have it looked at. I should have.m because I couldn’t get it to work. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked (a little stiff) but the pillows were nice and the fireplace very cozy on the two nights that were cold and rainy. What a great place to stay on a rainy day! The jetted tub was nice and warm but it could use some upkeep as a couple of the jets did not work. I loved seeing the cactus and listening to the mourning doves. I saw a road runner on the roof of one of the buildings and it was a treat to see him. The receptionist checking us in was lovely and all in all we had a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

Love our room with the fireplace. The courtyard leading to the hotel room is like a cactus garden. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. The bathroom is a bit dated so ventilation is not like those in new hotels, but we enjoyed every rustic bit of it. Also, the restaurant onsite has yummy good.

They made us get out of the pool early our first night so they could empty for resurfacing the next day. We were not told this would happen in advance or even when we checked in. In my opinion, this is HORRIBLE customer service. They have said they will make it up to us so, I didn't reduce my rating for it. Especially because it would have been "the best hotel ever", according to my kids. I tend to agree. The pool was awesome when it was full. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is tasty. They had an incredibly good breakfast buffet included and the room was big and homey. We absolutely want to come back when we can utilize the pool as planned.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lodge on the Dessert. The staff member who checked us in was Outstanding! She had the best personality! She was bubbly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. Sadly, we don’t remember her name, but she had short curly hair and her name started with an “A”. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub! We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family!

I do not usually give reviews for places that I stay but this one was very important to me because of the reason of the stay. My friend had lost a child due to suicide and needed some time away from the house. I arrived two days after her child shot herself in her bedroom. I could tell right away that it was time to get away. This couldn't have been a better place because it was nice and quiet and she had time to reflect. It was also beautiful so she was able to still see the beauty around her. The food no expensive was very good and of course the free breakfast was excellent. We like the chance to eat inside and outside to get some fresh air and not feel confined. The pool was extremely refreshing and the hot tub as well. She told me that she will never forget haven't had the opportunity to go and stay there for a week. It truly helped her to process.

Check in was easy, room was spacious and comfortable. Only complaint I have is that we literally had to whisper!! Security notified me of nose complaints two times, when after the first time I literally told my kids to go to bed and my fiancè and I whispered the rest of the night, went outside for some fresh air and the security harassed us again! Probably won't stay here again, if I do it will be my last resort!
