Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino Resort

Worst hotel experience. You can’t breath or move in this place without a security guard on your back. Absolutely not family friendly, everything closes early. Your kid can’t walk to the bathroom (when you are ordering food at a restaurant right by the bathroom) without security waiting for them outside of the bathroom to bring them back. Worst experience ever and won’t be back.

The property was convenient to our family's home nearby. However, the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. We were not notified during check-in that housekeeping only cleaned every three days, depending on the length of stay. The restaurant bar closes early, and the staff was rude if you went to order a drink close to closing time.

Really enjoy staying there as it’s close to where my kids live. The only thing I don’t like is the horrible smoke smell on the main floor walking to restaurants, etc.

My 22, 25 and 29 year old children were with me and were CONSTANTLY harassed by security every single day of our 4 day stay. Whether walking to a restaurant, the pool or even just out the front doors! They were asked to provide their ID cards, i wasn't asked even once. When my 25 year old was heading with his younger brother out the front doors and was asked, he didn't have his wallet because he was heading to grab something from the car, so he showed his red room key... the security card told him that wasn't a room key card and he would need to leave! All of this was in front of the guard who had JUST seen his ID not even an hour before this occurrence! For the amount of money we spent on this room, i did not expect them to be harassed throughout the day our entire visit! I do not plan to return to this hotel.

Great venue but attitude of most staff was terrible! Like they were bothered that they actually had to serve you. Also, hours of operation were ridiculous! Pool hours and entertainment center cater to someone who goes to bed at 8:00pm. You're supposed to be a casino, not a retirement community! We will never return and advise all friends and family to never attend! What a waste of a beautiful facility!

It was a good experience and the facility was nice and clean. Fast customer service. The only issue was with the shower head and water pressure. Not enough water pressure and shower head was at least half of it clogged up!. Very nice and comfortable stay! Will recommend to friends and family

Ak Chin Casino/Hotel is a friendly and clean destination. Staff are very helpful and approachable. Weekend entertainment a nice touch compared to other Casino's. Entertainment Center nice for families with children. Enjoyed our stay. Golf Course a true Gem.... love the stay and play package A+..

Casino is pretty stingy 😒 lots to do though, and activities for kids is a plus, bowling, game arcade and movie theater. All in all nice place to stay.

It was great. Staff was friendly and lots for my grandkids who were visiting to do.

Needing an overnight getaway, this destination is perfect for that. I was very comfortable in a standard King size room and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hidden oasis in the desert. I tried several meal options and was very impressed with the restaurants. The service at OAK & FORK was 5-star, as was the bruschetta, surf, and turf. If a quick bite you are looking for, Copper Cactus Grill has all your family favorites, from all-day breakfast to a good old burger and a dog. I am looking forward to my next stay at Harrahs Ak-Chin Casino.
