My family and I stayed while attending a graduation. We wanted to be within walking distance of university and local transportation. The MOXY checked both boxes.
We arrived around 9:00 in the evening and checked in at the bar. It was very loud, energetic, and busy. The decor is fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The girl checking us in was as enthusiastic as a wet paper towel. She glared at every child in her vicinity with daggers. I get that not everyone likes kids, but wow.
After check in, I was happy to discover we were far from the lobby. You don’t want to be on the first floor near it otherwise you’re likely to be kept awake by the music.
The rooms are funky, modern, industrial style. There were some mildew issues in the shower. Other than that the rooms were mostly clean. Housekeeping was absolutely lovely!
The pool area is fun with lounging chairs, beds, and tables. They also have inflatable loungers for the pool. There are many games and activities indoors as well. I liked the fact that you could rent bikes from the hotel!
Transit and restaurants are close. Definitely try the coffee at Honey 2 a Bee and donuts across the street at Voodoo.
My daughter left her stuffy, but the young man at the desk was able to locate it and turn it over to a friend for safe return. Thank you!
Overall, I would stay again if it was an adults only trip. If I needed to come for another formal event at the university, I would stay closer to the uni.

The beds were comfy and the pool was great! The location was convenient to several kid-friendly activities as well as ASU. But there was a lack of attention to detail regarding cleanliness. The shower fixtures had soap scum on them, trash bins were without liners and dirty-looking, elevator floor un-vacuumed, and outdoor breakfast tables were dirty. Overall the building was notably worn. Would prefer something a step above next time.

The vibe of this hotel is so fun! My family enjoyed their stay. The lobby is great place to hang out. Only complaint was there was loud music playing from the outside lobby area in the wee hours of the morning which woke us up.

Oh my goodness where do i begin?! The shower was warm and water pressure was perfect. Bed was comfy and huge, slept like a baby. Memory foam bean bag i never wanted to leave. Great atmosphere- lots of games to play in the lobby with great music and yummy drinks. Was in walking distance to voodoo doughnuts and the campus. Went here for graduation with my family and had breakfast at the hotel. Yummy quick bite before the ceremony. Overall top 5 hotels ive ever stayed at

Love this property! My grandkids had a blast hanging in the lobby playing games. The lobby has pinball games Pac-Man game and others, hockey table, pool table. The staff is so friendly and goes out of their way for every little request you have. I can’t wait to go back and stay.

The following review was rejected by Expedia but I don’t know why. See for yourself- A woman who worked several overnights was delightful. Kind, hard working, and helpful. I had a few noisy neighbors (different rooms) over the course of the week, She was able to intervene and help with all. There was one guest (she wasn’t working that night) who insisted on yelling all night and threatening to “beat the a$$es” of those who asked for quiet, the other person working that night (with the yeller) did nothing. I had kids with me and they were unsettled by it.

My bed was so comfortable and my room was so quiet. I slept really well. The lobby is fun. It's great for individuals or families or people on business. Very convenient if you are visiting an ASU student.

The kids loved board games and arcades. The swimming pool was very nice. The water wasn't cold so we were able to enjoy it in December.

This property is kinda strange. It seems like a unique boutique hotel. However the in room amenities are none, as in no coffee maker, no bottles of water, no ice bucket, etc. In order get anything, you have to go to the front desk. As for check in went, the bartender is the person that checked me in. There seems to be only restaurant and housekeeping staff. I saw zero guest support staff while I was there. The staff I did see were always playing on their phone or tablet as well.
The room was okay, but bring a blanket with you. The sheets and blankets are super thin and can get cold easy.
When you check in, double check the bath room amenities, as the shampoo was empty when I got there. When I called the next day to get some it took a hour and two phone calls in order to get some.
Now let’s go into the dozen of kids left unattended by the open pool 10:00 at night. You would think a hotel with a pool with have a room key lock on the gates to the pool. However this one does not and kids were able to run around it, screaming at 10 pm. Yes the parents should have control over their kids, however the staff need to pay attention and consider other guests. Over all the stay was mediocre, they have spent more in a strange decor than the actual guest experience.
