This was our first time in Wales and our first self catering holiday. Could not have picked a better place to stay. The cabana we stayed in was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). The location is ideal as it’s close to Porthmadog to pop to the supermarket, plus not too far from the nearby sites (including Mt Snowdon). The actual site/resort was stunning, great walks around the site including some nice trails in the woods and passing some beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend to anyone, especially those new to self catering. The bar/restaurant were right next to our cabana and we did have the buffet breakfast on our last morning which I could not fault, also having a nice bar as our doorstep was a nice treat. I would stay again if we were to return to this part of Wales. Finally, we didn’t see or need much of the staffs time but we every interaction was friendly and helpful.

We had the most amazing time! We stayed in a cabana and it was perfect! All the staff were polite and helpful! The whole park was lovely to walk around on an evening. It was a great stay for us and our two children! We would defiantly return!

Stayed here as dropping child to University. Lovely setting, staff friendly. Stayed in Cabana 24 which was really great. Parking right by cabana, nice decking area with seats outside and beds were comfortable. Facilities inside were great. My negatives were that the fridge or boiler kept making noises through the night and there was only 1 recycling point on the whole site.

Excellent hotel that ticked all the boxes for our family road trip. The hotel manager went above and beyond for us and made our stay extra special. Our room was perfect and the restaurant bar terrace was fantastic. Will return for an extended visit to explore the surrounding area further.

We had a short overnight stay in one of the cabanas and found the accommodation immaculate. The staff member Jo was incredibly helpful in the evening and again first thing in the morning. We will definitely be returning with the kids in the future as we are sure that they would love it. The view from our veranda was beautiful and the only disappointment was that we only booked for one night.

They assigned me a room where the windows didn't open. There is no air conditioning and the room turned into an oven. I requested some relief and was given a fan. After a few hours, I had to request another fan to keep me and my kids cool. Reception staff can only do so much but they were accommodative. In the morning upon complaining they refunded my buffet cost. That was not the point though, if you think a room is faulty, shut it down or figure out another method to fix it, don't put it out for rent. There are some great people that work there like Skye from reception and Jas from the restaurant. I think the issue is with the management who made the decision to rent a faulty room. Tried to raise the complaint through expedia with the property but to them paying me back for buffet was fair for the whole night of inconvenience. Sad!
