The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa

Wow this hotel needs to buy decent beds not the cheapest poor quality ones they have in room 203, I had the worse sleep I've ever had in a hotel.the room was absolutely freezing they turned the heating off in the early hours the bed a single one was poor quality more suited for a child the room was dated and had paint and dirt around the window.The only nice thing was the reception staff Melody who went out of her way to help me get extra blankets for the bed the hydro pool was very good.The bar was poor due to a wedding party the service was slow and the staff indifferent.I can't believe it was £200 pound for a room only stay this hotel is very dated in parts I wouldn't stay there again!!

We stayed here for a night was all very nice and spa facility was stunning. Hot tub and sauna, steam room was perfect. We went to town is about 2min walk next to the river Dee was so beautiful wow. Car park is big. Breakfast was very nice they have vegetarian option. We been with kids and our dog 🐕. Only kids under 16 can't use spa that understandable otherwise very clean room bathrooms staff friendly.

We were visiting family in Acrefair and have stayed in The Wild Pheasant Hotel before. Check-in was efficient and very cheerful and welcoming/ The room was good and had a very nive ensuite wuth a hot, powerful shower.

We were visiting family so only using the bedroom facilities. The room was clean and in good decorative condition, the tap water was hot and the shower was powerful. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and spa, but we did not use any of them. Close by are an Aldi and a Home Bargains and Llangollen centre is a 15 minute walk away. The waeather was very good and the walk along the river bank was very scenic. Reception were fast and efficient. A good place to stay.

I've stayed here many times and not been charged for my doog, a small Spaniel. Upon leaving they asked me £25 for the overnight stay for dog!!!! I was never told on checking. Also we had a travel cot, I asked for a sheet for the baby's mattress. She is 6mths old, to be told there was a charge! Spoilt out break, my daughter her baby n myself.
