Lovely stay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and we loved the pool as a family.

My hubby and I decided to have a break at the Le Mon Country Club to relax and have a bit of a break away from our children...A lovely warm welcome from the receptionist we checked in earlier no problem...Our room was lovely with a nice view...

If you like a hotel with very little heat, tepid water in the bathrooms, unhelpful staff and manager, no fridge in the room - then this is the hotel for you! Otherwise, best avoided and stay somewhere else. If you are staying here for business and out of the hotel all day, this might work for you. But if you are a tourist, using it as a base for visiting NI’s amazing culture and scenery, or as I am, for visiting family - and might be spending some time in your room, make sure you dress warm as the heating is on for only three hours a day. And as I checked out, with both the manager I spoke to on Friday night and the Reception manager present, it would have been nice if I had been asked if I had enjoyed my stay - because that’s what the staff do in a real 4 star hotel. My nephew had his wedding reception here (pre-COVID) and it was a splendid place, but the current management team are either disinterested or lack the capability to build La Mon back to the standards it achieved pre-pandemic.

Brilliant stay for our family! They had a playroom with a bouncy castle dedicated for children and kiddie pool sessions with pool toys. These extras made our family stay extra special.

Stayed here, great place, kid-friendly, nice breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. You MUST have a car, though, it is not near the city center.

We were looking forward to a quiet night away from the kids. The two single beds pushed together was uncomfortable. The drunken yobs who kicked off during the night really ruined our stay. At breakfast the next morning we were shocked to see two different families in the restaurant still in their pyjamas. Never see that at any hotel before! Breakfast was nice and staff were friendly. The leisure facilities were good, but I regret looking under the benches in the sauna. Could do with a good clean. I wouldn’t rush back. I’ve had better nights sleep in budget hotel chains.
