Novotel Wolverhampton

2 night stay to visit friends and family nearby. The hotel is basic & in need of updating. We were on the 3rd floor & had 2 connecting rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were cramped, the toiletries were not topped up in 1 room. The service at breakfast on both mornings was poor. There were plenty of staff but no one wanting to help and just stand around and chat instead. Unlikely to stay again

arrived at the hotel with a 14 month baby, had already called in the day to have the sofa deb setup, that wasnt done. Furthermore once we got all our clothes and bags into the room, we discovered the toilet wasnt the best, and to our disgust the toilet wasnt wasnt flushing in the moring, and we were trying to get ready for a ealy morning wedding with the baby. Informed the staff at checkout that this was the issue and the lift down was smelling of a blocked drain, but i was told sorry for this.

Not child friendly nothing for children to play with to keep them entertained not ideal for a family stay for the weekend and other guest was having chaos all hours in the morning until about 5am banging an screaming an shouting an god knows what else was goin on and also there was a full crime scene in the room few doors away from me police the lot was there and also the bed is absolutely shocking rock solid not one bit comfortable they need to improves the beds to something more softer

The toilet was separate to the bathroom, room was very tired and dirty. The toilet on its own had smell of stale cigarettes smoke. We had two little children with us so it was concerning. Hotel definitely needs an update

Limited shampoo for 1 person, we are family. no hand wash soap, no tissues, Limited towels. Toilet is so small and smells urine on our arrival

Terrible stay here the rooms we had booked within our family smelt of weed (drugs). Cleaning wasnt good at all and there were no hangers or milk in room i would never stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 days break away . Nice environment and good space bedroom for the family. Staffs are friendly. The breakfast was ok but more could have been done in-terms of varieties. Overall we had a good experience and would visit again whenever we were in town.

Made a booking to stay at the novatel Wolverhampton and very disappointed with the service I have received. I stayed previously and was happy so returned tonight with my partner and children. We arrived and went to the room at 10am we noticed the room was very hot and was struggling to sleep, my partner went down stairs and spoke to Liam night shift orditer. He said that he would move us to a different room and didn’t admit that there was a problem with the heating at this point. We got to a different room at 11:30 and this room was exactly the same only Liam had installed a fan which was very noisy. At 11:33 my partner went down to speak to Liam to see if there was anything he could do he’s said it’s normal my partner said he’s a lier and said to him that we’ve stayed here before and that there were no issues previously. Liam then admitted that the heating was broke and that it couldn’t be turned off he said customer service had reported it earlier in the day which is very concerning that I made my booking earlier and it wasn’t refused or I wasn’t made aware that the heating was faulty. At 12:50 approximately my partner went down again to see Liam and he said it will be passed to his manager in the morning. I really wished I was made aware that the heating wasn’t working at the time of booking I had a 6 hour drive the next day risking our live due to not having any sleep as a result of the hot room and fan. There was also broken glasses in the room which almost hurt my son.

Hotel was clean and seemed fairly modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had Full breakfast and kids were free, Good selection of Breakfast. Only issue we had, the toilet was leaking a little. We told the staff, someone cleaned it up, however the toilet still leaked. We were told that the maintenance staff were not available on the weekend.

Stayed at Novotel Wolverhampton for two nights as a family of three. Arrived at 9.30 in the evening and check in and out was quick with reception staff very polite and courteous on both days. Room was very clean and maid service excellent although on both days were left with a set of towels short which was quickly remedied with a call to room service. Room rate came with full English breakfast which was ample however refilling of items such as juices, bread and pastries could be improved. Would certainly stay at the Novotel again for location, quality of service and courteousness of staff.
