Staff were very helpful and polite. The clearing of tables and empty glasses could be better. The spa was nice although the feature shower in pool area not working well and no ice in the ice bowl. The swim times for teens were very restrictive and unnecessary for weekend days and need to be reviewed - perhaps a quite hour at the beginning and end of the day instead of restricting family access. Clean comfortable room and amazing air conditioning - much needed and appreciated during the heatwave! Lovely stay overall. Thank you.

Every member of staff we came into contact with were wonderful and very helpful. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable but that was due to the weather conditions and we were supplied with fans but didn’t help too much but again no fault of the hotel. We had booked these two rooms as a birthday treat for family members and choose your hotel purely on having the spa facilities. We went to spend a few hours in there but had a quick swim and sauna and left as the facilities were dreadful. Cracks on entering the pool, missing tiles in the steam room, broken ice bowl and unusable shower due to filthy conditions.

Stayed one night in a suite with 2 adults and 2 children. Lovely and spacious and bed was comfortable with a good bathroom and lovely shower. On the not so good side, the sofa beds for the children were not the usual Hilton standard, very thin mattresses. One of children move the mattress onto the floor and found it more comfortable. Also the additional washroom was nice to have but the basin was too close to the toilet so difficult to use, and no mirror. We had dinner, drinks and breakfast in the hotel and it was all great, friendly staff, especially the bar staff who were very helpful. We used the pool and sauna, all good but it's a shame that "splash time" for children is 0 -16 years old. My children are teenagers and good swimmers but we were only able to use the pool 8.30 - 10.00. Overall a very relaxing stay and we will return.

Due to children throwing gravel and lifting up stepping stones and breaking them we couldn’t use the outside space on a lovely sunny day. Women were putting there washing on the back of the chairs also.

Staff and property were good but a lot of noise during the night resulted in my family and I getting no sleep.

Nice hotel, facilities and breakfast. Had to move from first room at end of block due to continual on/off pump noise (all night so didn't sleep). Moved to another room which was nicer and generally quieter but hotel appears to be used to house refugees so some noisy bored children and men hanging around at all hours making a noise and giving a slightly strange feel to the place. Not particularly convenient to get to work in Abingdon....it looks close on the map but took me up to an hour to get there or back. Gym small but had what I needed and was never too busy.

Hotel is lovely and has spacious. The room was amazing and had everything needed. The bar area has plenty of seating, although they did run out of glasses one night. Breakfast had a great choice, would have liked the option of scrambled eggs but only Fries were offered. Also ran out of overnight oats. What let the hotel down was the receptionists. Apart from one lady, all others receptionists including manager, ignored guests waiting, were very short in their communication, unwelcoming, checkout was fast as in handed in room key and just told I didn’t owe anything. No pleasantry’s. Considering they’re the first and last impression of the hotel, they really let the hotel down. There were also lots of children staying running up and down the corridors every night and very early in the morning. However I do recommend the hotel, the hotel itself is fabulous and felt like a real treat to stay, especially the bedroom and bar area.

Floors were dirty not cleaned properly having a baby want to crawl round room and couldn’t. Food service poor - ordered two evening meals one room service missing sauces, second in bar and steak over cooked veg under cooked and kissing side salad and sauce which came after food was eaten. Pool times for children are inconvenient nothing during the day only early or late

We had a great weekend stay with our family and two dogs. We all had a good breakfast, which was a great start to the day. The location was perfect for the park and ride into Oxford and there were some lovely villages to visit for dog walks in the area.
