Holiday Inn Norwich City, an IHG Hotel

Nice stay for a family of four. After lots of travelling we wanted somewhere roomy and comfortable for a good night sleep. Beds were great, travel cot was fine and the room was clean. Only issue was contacting the hotel to confirm we had a cot ready for us...kept saying we cant guarantee but that seems ridiculous if asking in advance.

Close to the football stadium. Friendly staff at the reception and at breakfast. Close to the leisure centre. Lovely family room and overlooking the stadium. We really enjoyed our stay and wiuld definitely stay at this hotel again.

Easy walk from the train station. Visiting family who live nearby so very convenient location. Even though they are doing refurbishment there was still everything that you needed. Professional staff. Clean room and bathroom.

Amazing stay with a pitch view family room, well worth the money.

Ideally situated for visiting family. Professional reception staff and easy check in. Clean room. Unfortunately I had noisy neighbours so interrupted nights sleep. The lift wasn’t great but the view from the stairs was worth the six flights of stairs.

Really lovely stay here for our babymoon. The standard in the UK generally is not that great but we had such a great time, perfect location to explore the city, nice staff, really enjoyed breakfast and premium room had a comfortable bed and with a view of the pitch. Thank you x

Have stayed at the Holiday Inn Norwich City twice. Both stays were excellent, great location near railway station, pubs and restaurants, used as a base to visit Great Yarmouth with the children. Breakfast was great, lots of choice.

Wasn’t a very welcoming arrival then she said there was a problem with our room that we should have booked 2 rooms for a disability which I don’t I just needed a room for 3 adults. The room was adequate but was there smallest family room I have ever seen The window had no handle on so we could t open it There were no tissues in the the tissue holder The tv sis not work with the remote every time in particular turning on and off and the r was a black line down the middle of tv Not what I expect from the holiday inn as I usauallu always stay with holiday inn

This is a nice hotel located well. It ticked all the boxes for us, family of 4 (with children aged 5 and 6). Parking was fairly easy to find. We parked at the stadium. You must give the car reg number at reception, else you can get fined. But there's plenty of signs warning you. The check-in was nice and smooth. We have used our tescos vouchers to pay for the room which was great saving. We only paid for the breakfast. We have requested to be away from the elevators due to our son having issues with noises and that request was fulfilled, without the need of reminders. No issues with the keys (which is usually a recurrent thing in hotels). The room was spacious and clean. We could even see the stadium from our window. At night, the room was quiet. Breakfast was perfect, it had a variaty of English breakfast but also continental breakfast. They were fairly busy but everything went smoothly. They have even cooked us poached eggs upon request. All the staff were always smiling and friendly. Check out was easy and simple. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Norwich. Fantastic!

Good check in and out. Friendly personable and helpful staff. Food was good and reasonably priced although would prefer to have chosen food from a menu than via a QR code - the kids free meals were brilliant and a nice touch. Breakfast was well stocked, but would have been nice to see locally sourced sustainable produce. Overall a great stay.
