Glendower Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Second time staying in the Fairhaven suite and it's a perfect choice for our family. Suite was spacious, had a beautiful view of the sea and the kids said they had the best nights sleep ever. The food is fantastic and the staff are great too.

We only stayed for the one night but everything we experienced was really good. We stayed in a family room which was huge, room was very warm and could have done with a fridge with some water but other than that no complaints at all about the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

We was a little disappointed with our stay. The family room left a lot to be desired. It had Iron marks all over the floors, marks all over the walls and carpets, a view of what can only be described as a courtyard with loads of building supplies and rubbish. The shower pressure was terrible and it missed small details like water in the room. Also it had a wedding on which you obviously expect noise but it was SO loud in our room, that we didn't attempt to sleep until that was finished. And when we finally settled down, the rain caused a dripping sound on the window that woke both us up in the middle of the night. Not a great night's sleep. We didn't even get a chance to tell the staff as the queue to check out was 3 couples long and we just used the bucket and left. Only positive was the breakfast was lovely.

Had a lovely one night stay, right on the sea front, free parking, short walk into the town, we walked to train station for a 7 minute ride into Lytham. We had the family room, large double bed, with a smaller room containing two single beds, good tea tray, plenty of towels and clean, a bit of talc needed in the rooms but nothing to spoil our stay. Breakfast was waiter served,good breakfast choices, the only niggle, I had, and it was only a small thing, was the hot breakfast was brought out before we had finished our cereal/yoghurt, so I put mine aside to eat my cooked breakfast before it went cold, then finished my yoghurt/granola, the staff were wonderful, we will definitely go back again soon.

The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was a family room, whilst the furniture and carpet was tired, the room had two separate rooms which was perfect with 2 young children.

Very good family room, it was almost like a 2 room suite with proper single beds for the children, rather than sofa beds. The service was excellent and very friendly and the food delicious

The staff at Glendower are absolutely first class, every single one of them we had dealings with were extremely friendly, polite and incredibly patient with the three grandchildren. The all round service and breakfasts were spot on. We would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you to all concerned.

Fabulous suite; fabulous view; fabulous food. Lovely, friendly staff. Great area for kids- parks, gardens, pier, boating lakes only minutes away but still lovely and peaceful. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely family room for one night. The kids thought it was great as they had their own room which was great. The room was lovely and big and very comfortable but very tired in style. We ate in the hotel restaurant at night and the food was amazing, we had breakfast there too and it was great. Staff were lovely. The only thing I’d say is that the rooms and communal areas need a little TLC.

We stayed over one night for a family wedding, the hòtel was clean, and staff friendly and helpful.
