The hotel was clean and functional in a good location. The hotel staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. My only criticism is that the room
Did not have adequate storage space for our clothes especially for a family room.

The rooms are extremely tiny and had zero sound isolation. The sink was too close to the toilet and It was difficult to do my business even though I am not fat and have average height. The family room we were given was a divided room with a locked door on the shared wall between our room and the next room. Whatever they speak or listen to, we were able to hear as if they were in our room. We requested to change our room and were given a 2 persons room. It was even smaller with a 2 persons bed (me, my wife and my son had to fit in). We were asked to pay the same price for this 2 persons room as the family room. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I feel like grifted.
The staff was kind, I will give you that. But I will never choose this brand again.

The description of the room I booked was ‘Premium Double’, so naturally the ‘premium’ was the next level higher category than the ‘Standard Double’. So to find that the room was absolutely ‘NOT’ a ‘Premium’..! It was like a ‘Single’ with a double bed in it. The size was very very small, & there wasn’t even a kettle to boil water to make tea or coffee.?
Totally wrong & deceiving to call it a Premium Double, because what is it that makes it a ‘Premium’ not a Standard?!
Won’t stay there again & would’nt recommend Yotel to any friends or family!

Very nice clean hotel, the only down side was a sliding glass door to the bathroom that was very hard to open and noisy for a family room and didn’t close fully for privacy

Fantastic three nights at this hotel. My first time in London! Bethnal Green/Shoreditch is a lovely area if you’re not into the crazy city centre rush, but close enough to go in an out of the city as you please. Surrounded by great dining options, parks, cool vibes and street art. The only thing I can put a finger on is that the bathroom door in our room was slightly transparent, which meant it was not completely private from your friend/family in the room haha. But it wasn’t an issue for me. Super friendly staff, clean, quiet, convenient and was overall perfect for me.

It is a great place to stay for a short period of time , although we stayed for longer and really missed having a mini fridge. Other than that excellent value for a modern place although the family room is still very small for three people. The second fold out bed was very springy, and they could look at replacing with a Murphy bed type style that would also add space to the room.
The bathroom has a frosted glass barn door which doesn’t allow for much privacy, and a venting fan in the bathroom for showering etc would be ideal.
The access to the tube across the street is super convenient and it’s a totally walkable area that we really loved.
Overall the staff was SUPER great; friendly and accommodating, and we felt safe and comfortable.

Clean rooms, modern decor and the family room was a good size with a lovely view
Bed was comfy, bathroom excellent and the TV with Netflix was a good addition
Only downside was no fridge in the room

Good location but hotel has clearly suffered from being subsumed into the Yotel family. Door kept slamming loudly outside the room throughout the night, and in the morning the cleaners were knocking on the surrounding rooms’ doors and proclaiming “Housekeeping!” at regular intervals so very disturbed night’s sleep. Shame because this used to be a decent hotel and good value.
