The Clermont London, Victoria

I researched hotels for weeks trying to find the perfect place to stay for my first trip to London. I go to England regularly with my husband, whose family lives in Yorkshire but this was my first trip to London and I wanted it to be perfect. We arrived early so I wasn't expecting to be able to check in yet, check in was at 3pm so we dropped our bags and were told we would get a phone call when the room was ready. At 2pm we didn't get a call so we headed back and I told the concierge that we would be waiting in the lobby for our room. At 10 min to 3, I went up to check that the room would be ready at 3pm because we had dinner reservations at 5pm. She went and got our room key from a box that I saw someone bring down about 20 minutes before this. They didn't call us, or bother walking over to tell us our room was ready. Not attentive. The room was just okay, it was nothing special and every time the room was cleaned, I felt like it wasn't THAT clean. The convenience of the tube station being connected to the hotel is the only reason I gave 3 stars, that was really nice to be so accessible. I didn't think this hotel was worth the money and I wouldn't stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Clermont! The rooms are pretty small but very well appointed and cleaned thoroughly every day - the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better by Victoria station! I would not recommend the queen standard room to any more than 2 people (not suitable for families with children), but it is perfect for a couple who is spending most of their time exploring around London! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

My kids loved this centrally located hotel. It was clean and enough space for 3 teens.

We loved our stay here. Very charming:) and the staff was all great! Downside was no pool for my daughter but they did give her a stuff bear which we thought was super cute. We’re very grateful for them for being so kind to her and my family. Another downside was there’s no driveway. Our Uber had to drop us off across the street and we had to cross with our luggages. But the staff helps you carry them which was very helpful. They also reload your snacks and drinks in your room for free! We enjoyed trying the different snacks we don’t usually have back home. We would recommend this hotel. The staff is outstanding and the place is beautiful!

Stayed in Clermont London for 3 days with family. Hotel is in a very convenient location. It is next to the Victoria station. The room is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and our room was relatively spacious but we rented three deluxe king rooms and all three were different sizes - two rooms had a seating area. Only one elevator was operating the entire 11 days of our stay and sometimes our family on the 6th floor had to wait over 10 minutes for the elevator. It was also a long walk if your room is located in the back part of the hotel. The welcome sweets were a nice touch. The free "mini-bar" consisted of two waters, a coke, a diet coke, 2 shortbread cookies, a bag of popcorn, bag of chips, assorted teas, hot chocolate and coffee which was restocked every evening.

Great location with friendly staff. We received welcome gifts in our room and complementary mini bar in room that is refilled daily. Room is clean with plenty charging ports. We stayed for 9 days on family trip, it’s right next to Victoria station so super easy with lots transportation choices. Restaurant onsite was trendy with awesome drink menu, no need to go far. Lots dining options near by as well. We booked early so our package also included complementary English breakfast, great spread. Same menu daily but you can pick different things, for those coffee or tea lover. They have espresso machines and drip coffee options. Tea pot provided with lots tea options…totally save you some money from having to go eat out in the morning. Highly recommend!

Literally steps away from Victoria station, it couldn't be easier to get where you're going. Our room looked over the station but the sound proofing is incredible. We didn't hear a thing. The beds are extremely comfortable, rooms dark and amenities included. We enjoyed the retro English sweetie jar, took us back to our childhood. We paid extra for breakfast and it was most definitely worth the money. One of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. I highly recommend The Clermont and will definitely stay here again on future visits to the city.

Awesome location and stay there. Minibar was free and the kid took advantage.
