Crowne Plaza London Heathrow T4, an IHG Hotel

had a booking of 2 adults and one child with extra sofa bed. checked in to find out that there was no extra bed set up for the little one. It was too late to ask for change of room or setup of the sofa bed, as we had to catch up early flight the next day. It was disgusted as we actually paid extra for that!

We stayed here after a long, international flight with our toddler. We managed to have a dinner at the restaurant, which was surprisingly good and very kid friendly (they even had an activity pack for my kid). The room was quite large and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Double charged upon arriving. Requested infant crib in room but it was not already in room. Had to wait 1hr to get infant crib delivered to room, at midnight no less. Their infant crib had no mattress or sheets and was told that they do not offer crib sheets. Seems very unsanitary for all babies to share one plastic lining. Also very uncomfortable. Finally got a set of bedsheets brought to room and laid those down for comfort and sanitation. Would never stay here again.

Booked a suite for myself, partner and baby. Suite was very tired. Mould on the roof in bathroom, looked like vomit on side of bathtub and hairs through our towels. Fridge also warmed up our baby food instead of cooling - so all head to be thrown out. The cleanliness of the room was shocking, however the convenience of the hotel was great after a long flight

In what seemed like a relatively empty hotel, we got a room several miles from the elevator. The bellman hit on my 24 year old daughter telling her that he'd dreamt of her and spied her in the car and ran out to greet her. If I had known this I would never have left her with the luggage to go return the rental car. Once in the room, the sofa bed to be used by my other adult child was so disgusting that we had to sleep three to a bed and forego the pull out bed. There was HAIR in the sheets of the pull out bed.

The property was easy to get to from Terminal 3. We booked the suite which was plenty of room for our family of 4. There was a Coke bottle top left on a surface and the room wasn't as clean as I might expect from a crowne plaza. We asked for bedding for the sofa bed and they brought a sheet and a pillow. They asked if we wanted a blanket, and I said yes. The gentleman suggested that I needed to call the front desk again and he wasn't sure there was a blanket. The bar closed (food) by 11.30 p.m. and we had a late flight. There wasn't any other food except for a food items on the 24h room service menu. We ordered chicken wings - received 4 - for $$$.

I booked the hotel with the luggage storage facility as a criteria but when I checked in on 15.06.22, I was told that the storage room is under repair (sprinkler system faulty). I had to find an alternative as we were going to Spain the next day for 11 days. However when we checked in again on the 27th it's still not available. How can a prestigious hotel like Crowne Plaza not have it fixed or find an alternative for me instead of just telling me it's not available and that's it? I had to negotiate with 2 front desk manager to get my luggages to be stored as my flight home was later in the evening (9.35pm)which I was eventually allowed (that also till 5 pm at the latest). On another incident on checking in on 27.06.22 I was given keys to a room that is occupied. Fortunately the 2 men inside when I opened it was nice about it. That room is 2035 and we were finally given 2025. On a positive note the front desk manager gave a 2 hours extension of my check out time in lieu of their mistake. My appreciation goes to the 15th evening front desk manager (black man) who gave me a free upgrade to a family room on my request free of charge.
