Best Western York House Hotel

The hotel in general is nice, my biggest issue was the police presence some colourful characters staying in the hotel, not sure if it’s used as temporary accommodation, glad I didn’t bring my children

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, very well equipped and very accommodating. Ideal for families wanting to stay together rather than connecting rooms. Perfect location with lovely sea views

Excellent hotel and superb location. The beachfront facing rooms have amazing views. The room was extremely spacious and the furnishing to a very good standard. Service was impeccable throughout, from the check-in experience to all other contact needs there was a friendly and helpful spirit. Breakfast was the only food enjoyed in the restaurant. Quality was good. The hotel overall was certainly a decent 3-star. The age of the building was evident and in places a little tired, but this was not a negative and the hotel retains its seaside charm. The pool was enjoyed by the family, espially the kids, it was a perfect size and kept to a lovely warm temperature. Very clean too. Pool changing rooms could do with a little TLC, especially the middle cubicle which doesn't close properly or lock. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would definitely return.

Really nice hotel and great hospitality from the staff. While some parts of the hotel are a little bit dated, I booked 3 rooms for my family and I and all the rooms where modern, spacious and clean. The breakfast and dinner was also really good! Recommend using the pool also which is nice when it’s fairly empty. Parking is super cheap at £2 a day although you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot.

We stayed in a superior family room with our 3 year old and 9 month old. The location was fab. The room was massive with a sea view. The staff were great and the cleaners were friendly & did an excellent job.

Very comfortable stay. Very accomodating with kids. They set up a travel cot for us. Staff very pleasant, I wish we had a longer stay!
