Wyndham Trenython Manor

Staff and restaurant/food were really good. Check in staff not so much. Spa and Pool excellent to help you unwind and relax. Popular with families. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Trenython Manor. The Hotel and grounds were great for our family stay. We were emailed prior to our stay and advised to book in a time slot for swimming, as all swimming and gym sessions must be pre-booked. The hotel is grand and traditional. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. We had a family room in the hotel, which was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and it was a lovely touch being left sweets and a colouring book. Our bed was huge and really comfy. As the hotel is in an old building, the sound proofing wasn’t great, so if your a light sleeper ear plugs might be needed. Also there was no bedside plug sockets, to charge phones etc. we used the pool which was clean, and had a sauna, steam and jacuzzi too. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide variety of food choices. The hotel grounds are fab for children, with a football net, play area, woodland walk and tortoises. We just wished we stayed for longer!

We stayed in one of the lodges - excellent for a family. Be careful though as Expedia had booked us two lodges for 5 when in fact we only needed one. Ended up paying for two, but used one!! However, hotel, lodge and facilities were great.

We had a really relaxing and lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a lodge which was luxury and massive! Only downside was the kitchen…we stayed half board but the food was very limited with very few healthy options. The pizza was grim. Reception were able to resolve this very efficiently and we changed to B&B. The pool was adored by the kids. Warm, large, good depth and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit!!
