Great room although a little tired (which is the general vibe from the accommodation levels of the hotel). The reception & dining areas are well kept & welcoming. The food at the hotel was really good - we ate in the Zafari Bar & Grill as a family of 4 for £70 which included sides, drinks & extravagant milkshakes so not bad value at all considering it's a captive audience. Receptionist was far from welcoming & it boggles me that resorts of this size wouldn't have their friendliest staff members as the front of house. Overall, a great stay, let down in certain areas, but not enough to put me off returning.

We had a great time my children are aged 6 & 7yrs so would definetly recommend. The early access to park was great bonus we managed to get on 5 rides. Also was lovely to have access to safari animals 6.30pm-7.30pm when park had closed which you access through hotel. Will definetly return

At arrival, we had two rooms booked due to the size of our family, we ended up being in the two seperate hotels and a long distance apart. The Safari hotwel is newer and cleaner, the Aztec hotel is dated (This was a more expensive room?). We could not change rooms to be closer. The more expensive Aztec room was old and dated, air con would not work, TV is childrens area would not work and the safe game would not open either, awful place. WiFi would not work in both rooms. We could not get a reservation for dinner until late, nor breakfast as fully booked (Tables where available at times we informed where full). No information given by check in, had to ask about holiday details and even where our room was. £7.50 a pint of Stella and £8.75 for Guinness, everything about this hotel is designed to extract as much money from you as possible.

Although we booked an accessible room, which was very comfortable and extremely spacious, it didn't have a walk in shower, but a shower over bath, awkward but usable. The small refrigerator for drinks in the room was very handy. The Temple bar restaurant wasn't open in the evenings during our stay, so there was no carvery on offer, the Zafari bar and grill was available and we enjoyed the meals we had there. The breakfast choice was very good, standard fare. The time we were there wasn't particularly busy, but I think maybe when it is busy, it will be quite noisy everywhere, but then it's a theme park hotel aimed at families and kids. There are 3 floors accessible by stairs or 2 quite small lifts, each one can fit a couple of people and kids and a buggy, which, when busy, can be a little frustrating to wait for. The free WiFi although handy, does drop out a lot and requires constant signing in. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
