The Grand Brighton

With my baby and pregnant wife and made us wait till 5.30pm to check in. They did give us a free drink at the bar but would have thought better from a top hotel. Pillows where rubbish and hard bathroom very dated and needing love. Staff were very good and breakfast very good.

Hotel has 2 nice bars where you can go and relax . The rooms are dated but comfortable. The room we had waa quiet apart from screaming kids at 6am in the morning in the corridor outside the room .

Over night stay to treat family Member. Hotel was lovely, staff were amazing and breakfast included was really nice.

I booked a stay here for my wifes birthday. The hotel is stunning however when we checked in we were given our room and straight out the window there was a load of building work right opposite, there were workers on site that were the same level as the window so could look straight in. We went to reception to say we werent happy and they changed our room to one 3 floors higher, we said that i was a rare weekend away from the kids so were hoping for a lay in and didnt want to be disturbed by the work in the morning. We were told the contract was that the work couldnt start before 9am, unfortunately this wasnt the case, we were woken by several builders dropping waste like furniture two stories into a skip (way before 9am). And to add to this there were free rooms in the hotel away from this work but they wouldnt move us to these rooms unless we paid another £70 a night!
