At dawn and dusk, the sky changing from green to gold and pink to purple. Relax with a glass of wine on the new love seat as the Supermoon rises over Tortola like a burning fire. On clear nights you experience a cosmic light show beneath a ceiling of stars.

The spacious covered terrace, with new sofa, coffee table and loungers, provides shade to check your email while looking at the sea and makes it comfortable to read or dine outside.

The View is a true, split-level 1 bedroom home, within a resort, perfectly set up for a family or 2 couples to enjoy privacy. The shutters on the upper level can close and lock, so that others can sleep privately on the memory foam mattress in the sofa bed.

The View is independently and lovingly managed within the gates of Point Pleasant Resort, the island's favorite eco-resort, famous for its' views.. Walk the nature trails to our magical private beach. Take a dip in one of three glistening freshwater pools.

The ideal villa! Wide balcony sliding doors and fans for that open air island feel, elevated ocean vista offering all shades of turquoise to blue, sunrises and a constant cool breeze. Safe feel, gated w/ security, friendly grounds staff. Walk to the modern well kept pool situated atop the complex for a night swim with colorful lighting and more great views. Options for down-on-the-water food and bar, or an evening cocktail at a nicer mid-elevation restaurant surrounded by a palm nature area. Our great stay was guided with helpful hints by the very accommodating and communicative owner/host. Easy island drive to our two favorite Coki and Magens beaches. Would 10/10 return and / or recommend to family and friends for the essential Saint Thomas experience!

Chris, the property owner was overbearing in the beginning. She texts incessantly the days approaching the check-in date with a full list of do's, don'ts and questions about arrival times and travel. Her questions and advise almost seemed like a kidnapping scheme because she initially provided the wrong building number for the condo that the resort confirmed did not exist, she advised against our methods of travel and suggested others and continuously asked about arrival times, although she stated she was in New York at the time. She later corrected the condo building number. Most of what Chris told us was inaccurate. The condo is not 4 minutes from the beach, its a 10 minute hike down a hill and then you have to walk about 4 minutes to the beach. If you're not a hiker, you'll be exhausted coming back up because its more like 20 minutes back. The taxi's are cheap, convenient and safer. If you try building a friendship for your entire stay, they'll take you anywhere and wait on you. They may not bring you to the condo door but they will bring you up the hill. Chris does not want you to turn the A/C below 75⁰. We were so hot the entire stay. She'll suggest opening the balcony door... it doesn't help. The pull out couch is dirty. The view is gorgeous. The sun rises at about 4:30 or 5am. It'll wake you but its worth it. The bed is really firm. The shower water goes hot to cold repeatedly. I wasn't use to that. The neighbors move furniture loudly and slam doors.
