Villa del Mar

The rooms were a great size and the space was very family friendly with a full kitchen. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and we were grateful for their support finding services in town. The pool was small and not deep but the access to the beach was just across the street. Great crew on the beach w/chairs, floaties, and cool water. During the month of July, come prepared to protect yourself from mosquitos, especially by the pool and breakfast area.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a toddler in May. Initially I was inclined to staying on the beach , but cost was a factor. This gem is right across the beach , walking from my room took 5 minutes to reach the beach and it costs me much less . The Room was very spacious , everyday we had a cleaning service, feels very clean. Parking was easy. They have their umbrellas on the grace beach , so you don’t need to worry. If you want to get some food from grocery , or eat restaurants in grace bay it’s 15 minutes walk . 15 minutes sounds less , but with the heat , humidity it’s a lot,a rental car is better choice. And after spending 3-4 hours in beach you will not feel walking. Don’t expect much in complimentary breakfast. Bread jam , peanut butter , coffee , juice and serials. You can drive 3 minutes to grocery gourmet and grab breakfast by weights or eat other breakfast spots. Or cook or warm at the room. Very happy with my stay, cost effective, clean, very close to beach.

Proximity to beach and restaurants was great. Wilkin at the bar was excellent. Check in was a bit chaotic as there were many ppl checking in at the same time. We got there early at 1pm and were patiently waiting for 3pm check in. As we waited many other guests began arriving and we noticed that they were being shown their rooms before us. Maybe a simple oversight but we had already been waiting for hours. we checked in around 3:30 so not a huge deal but could’ve been better. Property would benefit by having bikes for their guests to use like many other properties do as the walk to town is about 15-20 mins. This is definitely a family resort. Expect dozens of kids in the pool. Despite there being a separate 2-4ft kids pool, the hotel doesn’t designate the main pool as adults only so the kids pool remained largely empty and the main pool was crowded with kids most days. Unfortunate for adults who wanted to relax by or in the pool. They should designate the main pool for adults only. The room was clean though did have a distinct mildew smell you had to get used to. Ground floor Terrace would benefit from a ceiling fan to keep the bugs at bay. Overall a good stay and would recommend.

This is a beautiful, hidden gem. Well-maintained and beautiful and close to everything. It was great for us and our family. Got two rooms and they were spacious and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room, we had a 2 bedroom suite. quiet area, off season and a lot of resorts and shops just opening up mid October. The pool was nice and very close to beach, across the street (more like a quiet lane). The only thing I didn't like was that apparently the guests before us had fed the local cats during their stay, and we had 4 of them hanging around our ground floor patio. We really couldn't use the patio because of this. I would definitely stay again, especially if you had family or wanted to cook some of your meals as the kitchen was well equipped. We walked to restaurants and found this convenient.

Extremely grateful for the staff there. My family and I were passengers in a taxi while on vacation there and suffered injuries due to a collision our taxi was involved in. The staff helped my children and I as it was our second to last day there.

This property was a great value and right across the street from the beach. The one bedroom plus den floor plan worked perfectly for traveling with our baby. The pool is beautiful and cleaned every morning. It has a large shallow wading area that our son loved splashing around in. My only complaint is the tile floors seemed dirty but I think that terra cotta style tile hides dirt/sand so maybe just bring some slippers with you. Everything else was perfectly clean.

Can’t ask for more at this price point. We had everything we needed, was across from the beach, was clean, was perfectly located to walk to ritz and town for dinner etc. this is the perfect place to stay to be comfortable and close to everything. FYI we are a family of 4 and stay at five star most trips and we were perfectly happy with this choice.

Very friendly and kind staff. The resort is walking distance to the beautiful beach. They offer your own umbrella, chairs, towels and kids toys right at the beach.

This is an amazingly wonderful hotel, very clean. The staff was so accomodating and friendly. We had such a great experience at the Villa Del Mar we rebooked again for a week long stay in a few months (for our entire family). Definetly a 5 star!
